Hale Kamaole 221 is a 3-bedroom, 2-bath condo featuring amenities such as an ocean view, air-conditioning, and a washer/dryer. Located on the 2nd floor, the condo can accommodate up to 8 guests with a King bed in the master bedroom, a Queen bed in the loft-style second bedroom, a King bed in the downstairs third bedroom, and a Queen sleeper sofa bed in the living space.

Please note, that this condo does not have elevator access. The open-concept living space features modern furniture with tropical decorations, ceiling fans, and a large flat-screen TV. The tile floors and vaulted ceilings make this open floor plan feel extra cool and comfortable.

Upstairs, you will find the spacious master bedroom with a King-size bed and a window A/C unit. The ensuite master bathroom features a large walk-in shower. Down the hall is the loft guest bedroom equipped with a Queen-size bed and a ceiling fan to help stay cool. On the main floor is the third guest bedroom which has a King-size bed and a window A/C unit. The guest bathroom is also located on the main floor with a large vanity space and a walk-in shower. Pack light! This unit has a washer and dryer for your convenience.

The property is in an excellent location across from a great beach. Lots of grass and green area for kids to play. The unit could use updating and additional storage in livingroom area. The kitchen lacked cupboard space, was difficult to get into cupboards and needed basic items such as pot holders which we purchased.There were lots of beach chairs, mats and beach play items. Although great location, we would look a more updated unit next time with more functional space.

This condo is in disrepair

The complex is great. No complaints there. This unit on the other hand is in disrepair. It's in a good location within the complex and has a decent layout, but it's been neglected and needs better management. Lot's of things were broken or didn't work well, the furniture was terrible, there weren't enough supplies like toilet paper, there wasn't much for beach supplies like boogie boards or toys for the kids and the kitchen was poorly set up. I'd recommend the complex, but you can find a better unit for the money.

Great location but condo needs updating

They really need to lose the carpet. It feels wet under your feet especially going up the stairs. And it makes things smell a bit funky after awhile! We do love the location and always stay here but this specific condo could use some remodeling.

Dirty, run down, tired. Layers upon layers of dirt and grime on grout and tile, doors and door handles streaked with black dirt, grimy and full of fly poop, cabinet doors dirty and greasy, patio door handle heavy with dirt and fly poop, screen door doesn’t close, screen door on front was full of dust balls and dirt - wouldn’t touch it, carpet was disgusting, railing to loft heavy with dust in the crevices, dust balls hanging from ceiling in main floor bedroom. Worst place I’ve ever stayed. Absolutely no pride of ownership.

Great location, very clean

The condo was very clean and well-stocked. The location was great, right across the street from from the beach and a short walk to restaurants. Parking was easy and right by the condo. It had plenty of beach chairs, boogie boards, and beach towels. Air conditioning in two of the bedrooms was really great and needed. The only downside is that it is a little small for 5 grown people (sleeps 6). Beds and bedrooms had plenty of space but the living area/deck is set up for 4 people. We had to pull in deck chairs to the dining table in order for us to all eat at the table together. There is no unused cabinet space to put all the non-refrigerated food we bought for a two week stay so it had to stay on the countertops which also was very limited. We had friends in another unit and the kitchen had limited space also so it is more of a limitation of the design of the condo than something the owner can do anything about. Would have been nice to have a small pantry cabinet somewhere. Otherwise, the condo would be perfectly fine for 4 people or a shorter stay. I would recommend this condo especially for the location.

Great stay

Great place to stay in Kihei. Lots of room for our party of 6. Fully stocked kitchen and amenities. Had everything we needed. Ample beach supplies, chairs, coolers. Very clean. Quick walk across the street to beautiful parks and beaches. Would definitely stay again.
