Wonderful.
We were a bit hesitant at first with no reviews to refer to, we think we may have been the first guest for the new owners of the property. We were pretty sure it would be good as we are familiar with the building and the area. It’s a old building and the apartment is showing it’s age but it is spotlessly clean and had everything we need including a well equiped kitchen and more than enough toiletries, t/p, etc including washing pods for the washing machine. It’s really more of a studio than a 1 bedroom with a retracting vinyl door to separate areas, the furnishing was clean, no stains, and the linens were beautiful, very good quality. The only thing l found annoying was the vertical blinds but we pretty much just left them open as the property is very private and looking in is not an issue. Fort DeRussy is next door, the grounds are keep immaculate and it’s patrolled 24/7 by military police so no loitering tolerated. The view from the huge private balcony was fabulous everyway you look the view is amazing, the ocean the city view the gardens and even the weekly fire works from the Hilton Hawaiian Village. We will be making reservations for this property again. It’s at the best end of Waikiki. We highly recommend but remember it is a bit dated, hopefully the new owners will rectify this in time. We are reluctant to share such a good review as we would love to keep this property to ourselves especially as Waikiki prices have skyrocketed, grateful for no resort fee.
