The room was very clean. I asked for a microwave which was immediately brought up to room at no charge, unlike other hotels which will charge you. The staff was courteous and the hotel had a vibrant atmosphere. The location was perfect, right across the street from the beach where one can catch public transportation in front of the hotel. Shopping and dinning within reach just steps away. The ocea view from the lanai was fantastic.

This was exactly what we needed. The king bed was comfortable, the bathroom was a good size, and we were surprised to have a little ocean view. We didn't need overpriced fancy, we wete doing so many activities. We needed a good room with a fridge and a safe. The Valet parking was fantastic. The staff were very helpful. Having the little market inside was perfect because some days we had to be out early to make a function and nothing was open. We picked up some fruit and had granola bars those days. Tiki's grill was another great aspect. Local fish available, we ate there 4 or 5 times. Great drinks and a great view. Perfect!

I stayed 6 nights at the Twin Fin Hotel in an ocean front room. The view was absolutely beautiful and gave me the true feeling of being in Hawaii. Sitting on the balcony with a coffee in the morning, feeling the sea breeze and watching the blue ocean, was so relaxing. The room itself was fine. Housekeeping seemed to change towels every second day. The shower water pressure wasn’t strong, but still manageable. The hotel provides two complimentary water bottles, and it was convenient to refill them on the lobby floor. I didn’t try the hotel breakfast, and I think it’s actually better not to add it since there are many cafés and restaurants nearby offering more variety at better prices. An ABC store is just a 1 minute walk away, where you can buy food, snacks, and souvenirs. The bus stop is also close, which made transportation easy. The hotel is about a 15 minute walk from the Royal Hawaiian Center. Considering the location and the ocean front view, the price was very reasonable compared to other options. The only downside was that reception was not very friendly and didn’t clearly explain the charges. In addition to the room rate, I was charged about $630USD (resort fee + security deposit). They only mentioned the resort fee at check-in, so I was left worried and confused until I figured out the rest. Overall, the stunning ocean view and convenient location made my stay very enjoyable, but clearer communication from staff would have made it even better.

We had an amazing stay. This place is a great value, just go in with the right expectations. If you’re expecting high end, you’ll want to look elsewhere. But if you’re looking for quality, value, and ocean views, this checks all the boxes. First, The balcony ocean views from the room is great. Watching the sun rise and seeing all the early morning surfers with a cup of Hawaiian grown coffee really sets the day off to a perfect start. The bed was super comfy, especially after a long day of beaching and walking around. Take advantage of the provided sunscreen, towels, beach chairs, beach umbrellas, etc which were all a nice really nice value add. The views from the coconut club are beautiful and the daily fruit/granola offering was my favorite. We did have a couple of maintenance issues during our stay, but they were very quick to resolve them and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. We would stay here again in a heartbeat and plan to on our next Waikīkī visit.

When I arrived it was a very long wait for valet. $50 a night which is crazy. It was hard to navigate and find where the elevators are. No one there to guide you, mind you when you’re jet legged with a toddler you need all the help you need. I ended up going up the escalator with my toddler, stroller and all my baggage’s. The check in desk staff were always in a bad mood, irritated when I would walk up and had a go away vibe. It took me about 3 or 4 days to figure things out about the hotel since the staff gave me absolutely no information. The food at the Tikis is way over priced and so is were drinks . Food was ok. Not worth the money but it was convenient. The entire duration of my stay there was no waiter around the pool. The room and hotel needs updating and is run down. No microwave unless you ask,the room pretty much is empty, so you need all the bathroom essentials of your own. The sliding door was so hard to open the sides of the door were coming apart from the wall. I heard several of the same Complaints from other people. Anyway. I loved the view but getting room service was hard I would have to call everyday to get my room cleaned. Sometimes they don’t even clean it until I called a second time. I would not return because it definitely isn’t worth the money and I would stay elsewhere. Not to mention a lot of the abc store staff were also very rude and annoyed of you would come up to the register. Honestly am pretty disappointed. The beach was amazing.
