"It was an older building. It need a updating but the room was very comfortable, clean with great amenities. Although there was no A/C there were sufficient fans in the rooms that made it cool combined with the cool breezes from the ocean it was pleasant. The kitchen area was well equipped with coffee maker, refrigerator, microwave, dishes, silverware, and dish soap. Bed was very comfortable. There is no elevator. The rates were very reasonable especially for a weekend. Location was close to Downtown, Farmer's Market, popular local restaurants. I would stay again."

"Beautiful property in a quiet neighborhood and about 1 1/2 miles from an ocean lookout. The house has everything you need to stay in or head out to explore the island. We even reached out for lanterns to explore the lava caves and they brought some great options right over. At night the birds make beautiful music that makes sitting on the back covered porch so relaxing! The home also has individual A/C units in every bedroom along with ceiling fans. They have beach chairs, towels, umbrellas, cooler bags, reusable ice packs, grocery bags, bug spray, and snorkeling gear. Really everything you need to maximize your Big Island adventure. I’d highly recommend this place and can’t wait to return!"

Close enough to Volcanoes National Park- we were lucky enough to see the volcano erupting on our last day!
