Prime location for Yellowstone, and very close to Lamar Valley for wildlife viewing. Property has everything you need and the owner is great to work with. Gardiner is a wonderful little town with lots of shops and wildlife walking up and down the streets!

The place was perfect for exploring Yellowstone from the north side. The owner was friendly and responsive (door lock ran out of battery and he showed up in 5 minutes to open the door and fix the problem ). There’s a grocery store and eateries within walking distance. The park is amazing!

This stay treated us well while we visited yellowstone. It is conveniently located walking distance from pretty much everything in Gardiner. The stay itself was fine, but could definitely use some cozier touches to make it more comfortable. Having a few lamps instead of the harsh overhead lighting would be nice. In that same vein, some night stands would be handy. Other than that, the stay was clean and tidy and the coffee was great.

Great Location

The location was excellent—close to everything we needed and easy to get around. The space itself had potential, but it could definitely benefit from a deeper cleaning and a few updates. It wasn’t quite as polished as we expected, but with a bit of attention to detail, it could be a really great spot.

The location was excellent - so convenient to accessing the North entrance to Yellowstone and walkable to coffee/shops/groceries. Accommodations were simple but had everything we needed, plus access to laundry. Parking was not an issue at all.

Adequate

We arrived late, well after dark,due to flight situations. It initially was difficult to find the location but the worst part was the location was down a stairway that was not lit. Carrying luggage made the trek much more difficult. The accommodations were adequate and close to the Roosevelt Arch and entry into Yellowstone. The amenities were extremely limited, but adequate. If you are looking for a quick place for the night that’s close to Yellowstone and you’re not concerned about comfort, this is your place.

Bare bones and not what it appeared on line.

The property was NOT a cabin, but a basement apartment. It was in disrepair in many respects, and not what I expected at all. As we were celebrating my son's engagement and 30th birthday, it was the downside of our trip. The bed was one of the most uncomfortable in which I have ever slept. In order to get to the apartment, we had to descend a narrow, dark staircase. With bad knees, this was quite painful. Our room backed up to laundry and windows looked out into dark concrete. The noise from upstairs was unbearable. Thankfully, Yellowstone did not disappoint like this VRBO did.

Convenient place close to the park

It is a convenient and comfortable place, close to the park and easy walking to places in town. Everything in the apartment was fine except it would be nice to have a little more utensils in the kitchen, it was barely enough for 4 people. Also, we were not able to open the window in the living room and the bathroom door was squeaky (which bothered the person sleeping in the living room). To note for others, the apartment is on the ground floor down the flight of stairs, windows are level with the ground and blinds are better be kept closed (the views from the windows are not nice). None of these little deficiences spoiled our stay.

Unit not suitable for anyone with mobility issues

Overall the stay was great but the directions sent in the email was confusing as was told to go to the right of the building for the stairs and they were to the left of the building. One in our party had hip replacement and even though stairs were stated in the checkin instructions the listing needs to state more clearly that anyone with mobility issues will have trouble navigating the stairs which could use updating.

Great Location

This was a great location and a very nice unit but seemed as if it had not been stayed in a while. The floors were dusty and there were a lot of bugs in the unit. We loved the location as it was in walking distance to many restaurants and fun activities. We were able to walk right down the street to catch our zip lining tour. there are many souvenir shops around also. It was nice to park once and walk to grab coffee or breakfast before we headed into the park. The park entrance is literally down the road. It was such a great place to stay and we would stay there again for sure.

Apartment in Town

The inside of the apartment is clean and quiet. There are plenty of linens available, the furniture and beds are quite comfortable. Coffee shop, convenience store, and restaurants are within close walking distance. What is good to know is that parking is whatever is available on the street. You should also know that you need to go down a flight of stairs to enter the apartment.

Good value and convenient for Yellowstone

Great place for visiting Yellowstone, nothing fancy but good value and everything you need to eat, sleep and visit the park. Easy to get in, parked on the street just outside and we had a great visit, thank you.
