We loved our stay at Explorer Cabins. Great staff, from the front office to housekeeping. Cabins are within walking distance to shops, restaurants and museum. Cabins are clean and beds comfortable. The fire pits were a nice spot to rest and visit after a day of trekking through Yellowstone. We had a great time.

We lived the explorer cabins! We had a little kitchens so we could cook a couple meals in the cabin. That was great. It big and roomy and a comfy bed. Quiet too. There was a gas fire pit that was lit each evening out in front of our cabin. It is shared with the other cabins In The area. The cabin has a nice gas fireplace too. They had ingredients to make smores for us as a little bonus. There are a few books and games too if you get bored. Walking distance to the shops and restaurants in west Yellowstone. We liked it very much.

Cabin was very cozy and comfortable. We enjoyed the fireplace in the early am and in the evening. The only thing that was disappointing was that the pocket door to the large bedroom was broken and couldn't be closed.

Such an amazing place to stay. The cabin was clean and spacious for our family of four. So great to come back to your own cabin after a day in Yellowstone. Shops and dining are all walking distance. Staff at the front desk are helpful and informative. Sitting around the fire at night and listening to wolves howl across the road is an amazing experience. We will for sure be coming back soon!

Property was very nice and clean. I expected these cabins to be in a more rural environment. They are in town and near all the hotels in groups of 6 around a fire pit. I’d stay again . I just expected something different from the pictures.

We loved our cabin. It was spacious, had a kitchen which was well equipt, and loved the electric fireplace. There were a lot of nice touches including the s’mores kit and plenty of towels. The one thing that I was surprised by was that it is not in a woodsy area like in the photos, but convenient quick walk to town.

Great stay for west Yellowstone

Great location. Easy check in. We had zero issues other than the fire place in our cabin didn’t work and the guy they sent over wasn’t able to fix it either. I would have appreciated a little concern or apology as we were on our honeymoon and it would have been a nice touch to have the fire place as it was chilly but it was not a deal breaker. The cabin was clean, lots of extras to occupy like a game, cards, and a few books and articles of interest. The best part is if you’re feeling social the cabins tenents seem to gather around the many big fire pits so it’s cool to meet folks from all over. We grabbed burgers from TRs burgers and brought them back. They were really good. They gave s’mores kits in the cabin so that was a perfect end of day.
