For the $600 a night for ocean view the room was right above cooking vent for there dinning area ..cld not sit out on balcony . Very loud !! They cldnt atleast discount for not being able to go on balcony.

We enjoyed our stay at the Diamondhead Beach Resort. We were on a week vacation on the Florida gulf coast and wanted to return to Fort Meyers Beach to see how it has changed since the hurricane. We were happy with the accommodations, the rooms were spacious and clean, the restaurant service good and overall we enjoyed our stay and would stay here again

Water was turned off in entire hotel for planned repairs with little notice. Could not flush toilets. Public restrooms were feces filled! Staff was dismissive. Had to call their corporate offices just for bottled water. Avoid this place!!
