Our room was not ready by the 4pm check-in time. Needed to request extra towels and blankets multiple times. Hot tub filled with children each time we wanted to use it. The shuttle only runs once an hour and was not able to accommodate all guests waiting to ride. Not a very safe area to bike. Not a swimming beach area. Only one elevator in service for building 2 which makes for a long wait at times and a longer distance to carry items to room from vehicle.

Beachside Resort offered a spacious suite with little to no attention to details. It is formerly a Marriott property that feels like it is being run by amateurs. Uninterested staff, old and unforfortable pool funiture, malfunctioning room key locks, no security, etc. The 2 bedroom suite was spacious and well laid out and the view of the marina was beautiful

Checking in was easy, restaurant has great food. Room was clean overall but floors were dirty. Nice pool and cute beach but you won't want to swim in the beach area. Shuttle was only once per hour and frequently full when being picked up in town.

Reservation Number : 72068799109509 I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience booking through Expedia. We made a reservation at the DoubleTree by Hilton through Expedia, received confirmation, and planned our trip around it. When we arrived at the hotel with our family, the front desk informed us that Hilton had cancelled our reservation — but Expedia had not notified us and was still showing the booking as valid. We were left without a room late at night with four kids after a long day of travel. I immediately contacted Expedia customer support. What followed was nearly four hours on the phone, being transferred multiple times and placed on long holds. During this time, we had no room, tired children, luggage packed, and no clear solution. Expedia repeatedly told us to “wait” while they attempted to reach the hotel, but there was very little proactive help. Eventually, Expedia arranged alternate accommodation, but we did not get to the new hotel until around 1:00 a.m. and were finally able to go to bed close to 2:00 a.m. Our children were exhausted, upset, and this completely ruined the day. We also had to cancel all of our planned activities, resulting in lost money and lost vacation experiences. The most concerning parts of this experience were: • Expedia had no awareness that our reservation was cancelled. • We received no communication about the cancellation. • Customer service took almost 4 hours to resolve a basic issue of being stranded without a

The staff at the resort were extremely helpful and friendly. They really took great care of us. The Tavern and Town restaurant has excellent food. It is under separate control as the breakfast staff there had a different attitude than the resort staff. Breakfast was supposed to begin at 8am. The door opened just after 8 on both days we wanted to eat there. The food is served buffet style but not at 8am and not with a great attitude.

Very disappointed with the size of the room and the lack of amenities. Having to scan the key card to use the elevator felt unnecessary, and the $25 parking fee was unreasonable. Overall, I would not stay here again and would not recommend it to others

Staff was not supportive at all. My dad and I felt like we were being laughed at when we would go into the lobby and ask any questions. The front desk did not always answer their phone. We tried to contact them to let them know our refrigerator was at 50° and not working properly. The groceries we bought spoiled and went bad. The Jacuzzi tub in our hotel suite did not work. Only one jet was operating. The hotel failed to mention that there was a shuttle to bring hotel guests down to Duval Street every hour. So for the first few days, we were paying for Ubers because no one made us aware of the shuttle. Also, when we first arrived, our hotel key would not work. So I had to walk back down to the lobby, which was not that close of a walk. Tell them that my key did not work. They did not believe me and said that that never happens. They then made me new keys and told me to go try it again and the new keys did not work either. This time I did not walk back down to the lobby. I called and had them come up and try the room key themselves! It also didn’t work for them. They had to let us into our room with a master key and have Maintenance come fix our hotel door. Our state would’ve been much more pleasant if the staff were more accommodating and welcoming. The hotel also did not let us know about any of the bike rentals the golf cart rentals or the moped rentals available along the island. One of the guest was telling us that you could rent bikes, golf carts, and mini bikes.

Check in was simple and easy. Disappointed we had a room with a “not working elevator.” Thankfully, we were on the second floor. The door to our room would jam easily. They should really look into this…. We had to call room service twice for extra pillows which took 1.5 hours. Beds are comfortable, but room is very small with a odd layout for the tv. Bathroom was clean, however , the toilet paper holder broke. Location is descent, but you do either need to drive or use the shuttle to go into old key west.
