Look, I know what to expect with Key West . Tight space and crowds. Things started well with initial stop in. Check in staff very nice. Was told room wasn’t ready two hours before check in and leave luggage in lobby and they would move to room soon because room would be done being clean soon. Fine,I arrived before checkin, understandable . Hour after check in time told room not ready. Going through deep keening. Too much to write after that. Ended up changing from prefered room. Had to give up keys to car. Missed an event due to being told I had to leave my car keys with the manager and to come back before 9pm to pick them up. I wasn’t in town to leave an event to pick up car keys which made my car unavailable the rest of the night since I couldn’t return on their timeline. This was after check in and should have been completed and car parked when I returned after check in time. I Should have left it parked off site like I started. Missed an event due to this. Unfortunate. Loading car after checkout no room in front of property where I unloaded. Had to bring to my car off site Location nice as expected Grounds, pool were nice. Room old but nice. Breakfast a nice benefit. Understand tight parking but not handled correctly. Was told leave the key. No option but just to park it off site which I had moved it from in the first place per direction. Again, unfortunate

Staff was very nice and helpful, how ever the room was not good at all. A very steep flight of stairs to go in and out with basically nothing to hang on to. Very low ceilings, I’m 5’2” and I hit my head three times on the ceiling and broke blood vessels in my hand when I accidentally hit the ceiling. I’m sure they were trying to help me out because I wanted a blow up bed added to the room but that room really should just be used for storage. Then the fact that they take your keys and when we wanted to check out at 7:30 am we had to call the emergency number to get our keys back. Very inconvenient

We stayed in a room across the street from Wicker house #208 that was outdated and in need of cleaning and repair (fresh grout, coat of paint, new furniture, etc). The two people who we interfaced with at check-in were abrasive and not welcoming.

Convenient location, easy check in, friendly. Pools were nice. Breakfast ok, fresh bagels. Area could use some music out there, atmosphere. Overall room good, small but had everything you need. Sheets smelled like bleach, kind of gave me a headache, no rubber mat in shower, or safety bar, almost slipped. Patio area outside room was dirty, Would be nice if they had some carts to move bags and luggage.
