Desk staff was very nice. Long wait at airport for hotel shuttle pickup. Access control of guest room corridor was a problem when a man was pounding on a guest's room until late into the night keeping us awake until after 3am.

The 1st clerk and 1st transport driver at the hotel was very nice. All of the other staff that I encountered after that was either rude or dismissive. The room looked ok, but it had roaches in it, had a mildew smell to the point where when you turned on the air conditioner it got worse, there was lots of people just hanging out around my room door until 3am and I needed to be up to go to the airport at 4:30am (I didn't get a wink of sleep) and there was also lots of stray cats just hanging around. The next morning I went to desk to check out and the clerk was rude, then my mother and I waited out front for the shuttle to pick us up, the driver all of a sudden comes up telling us we're about to get left, so we grab our bags and hurry to the vehicle, he begins slamming the doors, and I ask can we at least get some assistance with our bags and help on. He takes 1 bags throws it in the back and head to his door. My mother steps on the first step and bam hits the step and rolls off onto the concrete.

hotel close to both the airport and the cruise pier perfect for a precruise overnighter. room was nice resturant was very good, and reasonably priced. would stay here again.

I stayed at the Ft. Lauderdale Red Carpet Inn Airport-Cruise port on 4/21/18 and 4/28/18, the days before and after a recent cruise. It was the worst hotel that I’ve stayed at in 40 years of personal and business travel. • Airport pick-up by the hotel shuttle: I was told it would take 15 minutes. It took 45 minutes • I was told to be in the lobby area that day at 5 p.m. to register for the shuttle to the cruise port the next morning. The employee simply left the premises and I informed the manager who filled-in after a 25 minute wait • Several employees at the desk were just short of surly (others were pleasant). The young gentleman who checked me in was a bit abrupt and almost rude. . • I sat down at the tiny table in my room to write a few things. My arm stuck to the tabletop – dried-up soft drink, maybe? • No tissues in the room. • The bed in this hotel had an uncomfortable, bouncy old-style spring-type mattress. • The room air conditioner was quirky. I couldn’t turn it on in the afternoon when it was warm. Repeating the same actions, it worked several hours later. • The deadbolt on the interior door to the adjoining room did not work (jammed). • At the end of my cruise, I returned to the hotel early. The hotel had no place to store my suitcase. • The fan in the bathroom was stunningly loud. • The bathroom had no tub – it only had a shower.

Noisy room

Pros: Overall room was comfortable
Cons: Noise level
Location: close to airport to be able to use shuttle
Could hear sound from neighbor rooms, construction or very loud noises on Saturday AM before 8 AM, large hotel and lot of walking to back rooms. Shuttle service only run every hour. With weather delay at airport at least i found room.
