Although we were able to check in very early (yay!), once we left the room for the day and returned there was a cockroach on our bathroom sink. We requested a room change, which was accommodated. As we packed up the original room we found another cockroach in the toilet area. I had to ask the hotel what else they could do for us. They comped us complimentary breakfast. While the front desk made an attempt to correct the bug situation, it was also disappointing that the pool was under renovation and the chairs in the restaurant and room were very worn and looked to be in need of replacement.

The location was very convenient. The lobby area was beautiful. The front desk staff was exceptional. I was graciously allowed to check in early, having traveled a far distance to attend my brother’s funeral. In addition, I was provided with a sewing kit when I discovered a small tear in my only black sweater. I also appreciated that there was a gift shop in the hotel
