Room was quite small and did not like the glass door on bathroom which did not close properly. Staff were all lovely and very helpful allowed us to check in early which was helpful. Good position to walk into city centre.

Grata service and room was really queen. Only complaint is the bed and pillows were insanely uncomfortable. As the room is small in the first place (which is normally fine), the tiny & uncomfortable bed made the experience not great.

Modern & Comfortable Close to Castle
Very modern and clean. Beds super comfy. Reasonable price for Edinburgh if you don't mind walking a lot. 10 minute walk to the castle, 10 minute walk to Dean Village and 25 to heart of city. Good location. Highly recommend.

Rudest staff/manager and worst budget inn as this is not even a hotel. Had previously booked for 2 guests and as we got to the hotel, my parents and I were asked to book another room as the other one can't be in the room which we understood. Have contacted Expedia to make it to 3 guests instead but they weren't able to as they already checked us in. We went into the room to talk about booking another room or hotel as my parents wanted us to be all together in one room. So by 2pm, we booked a much better (which I should've done in the first place) with the nicest and kindest front desk agents. We went to the new hotel to check in and went back to Point A to grab our stuff and next thing we know, Expedia called me to let me know that they will call the police on us if one wouldn't leave the hotel, unbelievable and very inconsiderate for them to not even ask or think that we're only taking our stuff to transfer to the other hotel. Money wasn't the problem as we will truly book another as 3 guests can't be accomodated but this kind of welcome to us to this beautiful country was beyond unpleasant, discourteous and ill-mannered. We truly understand that they're doing their job but there's a better way of handling this but to threaten us was a different thing. We didn't even touch a single thing from this inn and not even a single soul slept in the room we still managed to pay because of what happened. I will never recommend this to anyone.

Great little find
Great little find in the centre of Edinburgh. Close to all the local attractions and amenities. About a 10/15mins walk from both the Haymarket and West End tram stops. 20min walk to both the castle and Princes Street. Nice cosy hotel, my room was clean and comfortable. I had a ground floor room with no window which wasn’t an issue although you have no idea what the weather is like until you leave lol. I didn’t have breakfast but the selection looked good when I passed through each morning. Would totally recommend for both a sightseeing or business trip. Incredibly reasonable price for its location. Staff were all friendly and helpful everytime I came through reception. They also stored my luggage either end of my stay free of charge due to my early flight arrival and late flight departure. Would definitely stay again.

This place was great only downside is that there’s no parking available. We had to pay a parking spot 2 blocks away so not terrible. Walk to the Edinburgh castle it’s only 12 minutes.

This hotel is very modern and incredibly clean. The rooms are pretty small. We had one of the larger rooms and it was small. The bed was very comfortable and linens were spotless. The breakfast was very good, and the lounge area was quite big, so guests could hang out there if they were too cramped in their rooms. The rooms themselves don’t have a lot of amenities, no frig or coffee/tea pot. Only bath towels. No closet. That being said, we enjoyed our stay here. The location was a short walk to the Haymarket train station and a bus stop was just outside of the hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Great staff, great service just very small rooms!
This is a good place to stay, if your looking for a good b&b in the centre of town. The service and staff are excellent, it is also very clean and eco friendly. It did offer gluten free and vegetarian and vegan options. The downside was the room we had was extremely small. If you wanted a comfortable seat, you had to go downstairs to the reception come breakfast area where they served drinks and a few nibbles.
