Perfect location for exploring Edinburgh. Hotel room was very good, bathroom was lovely … just very hot, air conditioning cooled it somewhat but no windows to open for natural air. Breakfast was great, good choice of food and drinks. Would definitely recommend and would return

Recommend but beds need replacing

Overall, the hotel is a good place to stay. The complimentary breakfast was fantastic. However, our bed was very uncomfortable and noisy with every movement.

Apart from a ridiculous half hour wait to check in, it is a clean and tidy hotel. Very convenient for Haymarket station, with great walks into Edinburgh centre seeing the sights as you go. A bonus to have breakfast included too.

The staff were superb and made our 2 night vist most enjoyable. The food in Sofia's was excellent as was the breakfast. The disabled room was fine with just 1 tight spot.The bathroom was well thought out and the toiletries lovely. Location for our concert at the Royal Lyceum was ideal.

Excellent staff, breakfast is slightly limited on options (eg no poached eggs or mushrooms) but still plently of choice and hot food replenished well. Absolute gem of an attached Nepalese restaurant, well worth a try. Quiet corriders and good showers. Very pleasant stay.
