The location was great.....walking distance to anything you'd want to do in the city and even a short mile walk to Arthur's Seat. Rooms were small but clean and had everything I needed..didn't need bigger. Enjoyed the bar/restaurant on the property as well...easy to pop in while planning rest of day/evening for a glass of wine and snack. I would def stay again.

This hotel is in a great location close to the middle of the Royal Mile. It was clean and the staff friendly. My complaints are more preferences than anything truly wrong. Our room was situated on a corner so I suspect we had more windows making it difficult for the room to be heated properly. We had the thermostat turned all the way up and slept in layers. There was also only one outlet in the room and it was near the door.
