Gorgeous hotel in the heart of Denver

Pros: Everything.
Cons: Nothing.
Location: Our favorite Denver Mexican restaurant is La Loma. You must go here.
We only stayed here for one night after our wedding and before our honeymoon, but I cannot wait to come back. Hotel Teatro is a beautiful, architecturally stunning building with wonderful rooms and an extremely helpful staff. It's also centrally located to a lot of great spots in Denver. The concierge also delivered a bottle of Prosecco to our room to celebrate our marriage, which might seem like the obvious thing to do, but the Park Hyatt didn't even do that for us on our wedding night. We had a corner king on the top floor, which was spacious. The bathroom is huge and everything in the room was really nice. CANNOT wait to stay here again. I stayed at the Ritz-Carlton last time I was in Denver, and this hotel blows the Ritz out of the water.

One Night, One Excellent Experience

Friendly staff, immaculate, comfortable room that was precisely as described online, and no bait and switch fees. Went to the bar/lounge the evening of my stay, and the bartender was amiable and made me her own signature cocktail upon request. Breakfast the next morning was simple, with consistent friendly faces. I would change the "Study" seating furniture though, as it's more fashionable than comfortable to sit on for a meal. Complementary car service within a 2 mile radius, and the driver was tops. Overall, I would definitely recommend and stay again.

Great Stay

Pros: Downtown location was very convenient for walking to many activities, restaurants and light rail station.
Four day stay over Easter weekend. Staff members were all very helpful and professional. Room was in excellent condition and bed were comfortable with high-quality linens. Hotel was very quiet and common areas attractive and clean. We ate only one breakfast in the hotel and it was very good.

Travelocity - no price guarantee here!

The room price dropped $60 from the it was booked. The hotel did up grade our room, but Travelpcity was of no help. Very disappointed!

Excellent Hotel in Downtown Denver

Pros: You could concentrate on your business at hand, with no irritating distractions.
Cons: For my tastes, nothing.
Location: Downtown Denver - anything important was within walking distance or a short cab ride.
Absolutely no glitches - staff was there when you needed them, and out of the way when you didn't. Room was very comfortable and quiet, and everything worked.

Stay at the Hotel Teatro If You're in Denver

Pros: As noted above, it is convenient to Downtown, well-run, and has "character."
Location: Located within easy walking distance of the Denver Theater Complex, convention center, and the many local restaurants.
Booked the Hotel Teatro through Travelocity mainly based on comparative price and proximity to the convention center, but hope to return again even if just for a few days in the Denver area. Friendly and attentive staff--example, when someone passing through the lobby noticed me enter and heading to the elevator, he pushed the button so it arrived faster. Breakfast served in a lounge that looks like the library in a home, with comfortable chairs and tables, and delicious oatmeal. Dinner in The Nickel Restaurant was well prepared and served. My room was on the 2nd floor. It had a short hallway at the entry level, with the closet and bathroom, and then then, two steps down, the queen bed, desk, sofa, and table. Even facing 14th St., it was quiet. There was an interesting old photograph for decoration. It appeared to be about a century old, with a rich young lady on a lounge reaching out toward a much older butler holding a tray. When I asked about it, I was told it was from a play performed around 1911, when the building was erected. They take great pride in its history, first as the headquarters for the Denver Tramway Company, and then, for the past two decades, the Hotel Teatro. In short, comfortable, affordable, and welcoming.

Hotel Teatro

Pros: Location, rooms & staff
Location: Lots of restaurants, bars & shops. Great out door dining.
Nice place, very friendly staff. We had a small problem at check in, but they took care of it, and comped our breakfast for the next day. They try hard to make sure that their visitors are happy with their stay.

Hotel Teatro is a beautiful and unique Denver hote

Pros: Uniqueness, charm, location, cleanliness.
Location: 16th street mall for shopping and restaurants
This is a really nice boutique hotel that is nicer than ones I've stayed at in New York City. The building itself is charming as it's a converted Tramway building. Much, much more character than your run of the mill nice hotel chains. We stayed in what I think is called a "petite queen", and there wasn't much floor space left beyond the bed. It was already pricey so I didn't want to upgrade. The bar is very nice and the breakfast looked like it would have been fantastic, but we had to leave before they started brewing the coffee. I will definitely visit Hotel Teatro again.

Denver Teatro

Pros: Very good and convenient location downtown. Quiet and sedate. Exceptionally clean and neat property throughout.
Cons: Not much. Rooms, lobby, etc were on the smallish side, but not something that one could reasonably expect proprietor to be able to change.
Location: See above.
Perhaps the most compelling thing about this stay was the exceptional pricing achieved through Travelocity. Made unseen purchase based on stars rating and was not disappointed.

Beautiful Hotel

Pros: Smaller cozier hotel with friendly accommodating staff
Cons: Nothing could improve it!
Location: Central location and close to 16th St. mall.
We came for my boyfriend's birthday and the hotel was a great place to stay and celebrate it. They have a shuttle that takes you to places within a two mile radius and that was perfect for going to restaurants and shops downtown Denver. The hotel has a very cozy elegant feel to it.
