I went to San Diego on a solo yolo 5 day get away while my husband fished in Mexico. I stayed in a suite with a view of the marina. The shower grout and tile needed to be cleaned. The color was a pink hew of mildew; bathroom door frames were stained with red marks, looked like blood; pillow case had a noticeable stain; housekeeping didn’t replace ice bucket plastic cover; didn’t replace black cosmetic face towels and small white towels even though the dirty towels were on the floor.

We generally have a good stay at this property. Upon entering bathroom, the toilet seat was completely ripped off toilet. They could not have cleaned the toilet and missed that! Took about an hour to get it replaced. Mini bar door completely hanging off hinges. But biggest complaint was the noise from above. You could hear the people urinating then flushing. Talking like they were in our room. Terribly thin walls/ceiling. Was told they were sold out and couldn’t move us even though there were rooms available on Expedia.

We had a wonderful weekend but the only thing was the people staying above us had a kid jumping off the bed and they were a limited of parking spaces. Even if you paid for parking you weren’t guaranteed to buy parking space.

A great stay

I came here to work and could have stayed to play. The food is great, the rooms are comfortable, clean and well appointed. The staff in the restaurant and bar are so friendly and helpful.

There was some noticeable wear and tear in the room and it could use a bit of a facelift renovation and some new furniture. Otherwise the room was comfortable and clean. Nice big TV in the room. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, both for the hotel and restaurant. There wasn’t much by way of grocery or convenience stores in the immediate area, but there were several restaurants within walking distance. We ate at the hotel restaurant and walked to Brigantine a short distance away. Would recommend both. The area surrounding the hotel along the harbor is kept very nice and there’s a walking path along the water that made for a nice evening stroll.
