Pros: It was in a good location to most sights. It's a trusted name hotel. The rooms were clean, updated and the staff was very friendly/
Cons: During busy breakfast hours, the service from the wait staff could have been a bit more attentive.
The hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. It was raining one of the days I was staying at the hotel and I didn't pack an umbrella so I asked the front desk if they had one I could borrow. One of the front desk member said they were all checked out, but the other front desk employee went to the back and was bale to found one for me. I really appreciated her efforts.

a night in the city

Pros: The convenience to restaurants and entertainment, everything within walking distance.
Location: We ate and had drinks at Harry Carey's, shopped at Old Navy, and went to the house of blues for a concert, all within walking distance.
When checking in, our reservation could not be found by name or itinerary number, we were asked to forward our confirmation email to the desk manager to trouble shoot our problem, we were given a room to get settled, we were then notified that our reservation was under a name which was ours but misspelled. We were assured everything was taken care, after checking out the next day, we found our credit card was charged for $202 & $100. I emailed the manager and called the hotel, but still have not gotten a response or credit on our credit card. Regarding the hotel, it was very nice, loved the location, close to restaurants and entertainment, no car or cab needed. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, I was surprised we had a refrigerator but not a microwave in our room and ice machines were not on every floor. The hotel offered a nice bar during the day and a nice area for breakfast. The staff was very helpful during our stay and depending on how long this dispute takes to rectify, we would recommend this hotel.

Great central location

Pros: Close to restaurants and local sights.
Cons: Sound proofing of the rooms from outside noise from within the hotel.
Location: Great selection of restaurants and within walking distance to popular sites in the area.
Overall, the hotel had a great location to restaurants and local sights. The ambience of the hotel was nice but our only complaint was the sound proofing of the rooms were not very good since we could hear the After Midnight crowd in full volume in our room while we were sleeping. Overall , we would chose this hotel again if in Chicago.

Great River View!

Pros: The interior finishes, the staff and the comfort of the room and bath.
Cons: The rain style shower is not my preferred higher pressure, but that was the only feature that wasn't 100%.
Location: Very convenient to the Loop and Michigan Avenue, across the street from the House of Blues. Close to both fine dining and more casual pubs.
Great hotel with a wonderful view of the river and bridges. The room was comfortable contemporary with nice art work. The pillows and robes were outstanding. It was close to everything in the loop, but just far enough from Michigan Avenue to be a little more quiet.

Not many amenities

Overall, I thought the experience was ok.  Parking was more than advertised.  Also there was construction going on in the room above me at 8am on Saturday and again at 9am.  The biggest convience was location.  For the price I would probably not stay there again

Excellent customer service

I booked the hotel online and when I arrived checking in went smooth and the 2 night stay was great. Although everything went well the bed spread had a lipstick stain on it so I rated very low for cleanliness.  I'm sure it probably cost a lot to dry clean the Duvet cover but the House keeping should look for stains because fresh, clean, crisp and stainless bedding is godly.

Great location but small rooms

Pros: Quiet
Cons: no food in the hotel, no pool
Nice clean rooms but dark and small. Great access to public transportation and local restaurants but no restaurant at the hotel. When we asked about a pool they said they shared one with another hotel down the street...Weird
