Sheets weren't clean, musty odor in room, demolition right outside room, pool was still closed for season in late June! It was close to the event we attended so that was a plus. And staff was very helpful.

We apologize for the mishaps , we will investigate this issue with our front desk and housekeeping supervisor. However we are truly happy our front desk was more helpful with everything you may have needed.

Pros: Nothing.
Cons: Everything.
Their website does NOT accurately reflect their facilities or amenities - there are NO amenities. There is no view of the lake from rooms and it's difficult to even see past the 4 lane highway. The rooms are old and disgusting, the beds are rock hard with gross comforters, the TVs do not have cable - only analog, there were NO ice machines or vending, and the workout facility (that they claim has a lake-view) is literally non-existent. They are currently "under renovation" but that was not displayed on their website or communicated via telephone when I made the reservation. The staff was rube and abrupt in person and on the phone and clearly do not enjoy their jobs. Immensely disappointed in this "hotel" (definitely a run down MOTEL) and will NEVER stay there again or recommend to anyone I know. Be careful if you make a reservation based on their website - it's all lies.

Good location near many attractions buf very outdated hotel.

Pros: Close restaurants
Cons: Noisy
The staff was friendly but should have explained the location of our room and how to get there. The layout is very strange and we spent 20 min trying to figure out what doors to enter while holding all the luggage on a very cold winter night. We had to go all the around to the other side because hallways do not connect. After first night the outside doors were broken and ths key cards were not working in below zero temps. We had our toddler with us too! Luckily staff werd nesr by and came to our rsscue. They let us intova foom quickly to warm us while they checked ths doors. The door ended up being out of order because the wind had blew open door and broke the hindges. We had to switch rooms and again the rooms aren't all connected so in and out of the cold to get all the luggage for 5 people. If you have neighbors across the hall which is only liks 4' away be prepared to hear every door close and feel like its your door closing or opening. Stairs Also very dangerous, my mother nearly fell down the steep narrow stairs and hurt her foot a little. We did enjoy the Lakeshore Cafe and how close it was. Good food and service there.

The staff of this hotel is awesome!

Pros: Close restaurants, Quiet
Cons: see my comments
Loved the free parking . This hotel is also easy access to the CTA. However, the Wifi is weak and is in sore need of an upgrade. Connections were very hard to obtain in the rooms and were only slightly better in the lobby.

Warm accommodating staff. Great location and surrounding area.

Pros: Close restaurants, Quiet, museums close by
I would recommend without hesitation! The staff is always eager to accommodate. The location is great and is easy to get to places surrounding such as museums, the DuSable Museum, eating places, historic neighborhoods and even downtown.

Comfortable room, pleasant neighborhood, welcoming staff (thank you, Angie!)

Pros: Free Internet, Quiet
Cons: restaurants a bit far
Comfortable room, good food and amenities, pleasant neighborhood, welcoming staff (thank you, Angie!) My only suggestion is to offer earlier shuttle to McCormick Place.

Old, gloomy, smelly, dirty, broken room items, poor housekeeping

The only thing nice was the view. I was told I would have a suite with two beds, a king and a full. I got a room with a dirty couch with no linens. The place smelled like mold mixed with sewage issues. Carpet dirty, television broke, fridge not operating. Towel shortage both days. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Plan on writing Ramada Inn Corporate offices.

Location was good but not worth the money.

Pros: Free Internet
The location was good and the free shuttle to the McCormick was great. The staff was helpful. The hotel was dirty and it smelled like mold. Our room was on the fourth floor and had a soft spot in the floor that was spongy. The rooms were outdated and the elevator took forever!
