We requested adjoining rooms and were told once we got there that they were all booked. Also our A/C quit working after we had stayed one night and unpacked then we had to pack everything up and move rooms for our next night. Not easy when you have a 2 and 3 year old.

Housekeeping? left room door open while I was away

Cons: security
Came back in the evening after having been away all day to find my room door open, with the inside upper door latch between the door and the wall. In my absence housekeeping had abviously come in to clean up; I presume that is how the door was left open though I do not know for certain. I felt lucky to find my laptop was still inside where it had been placed inside a drawer nor did anything else appear missing. The door was clearly open for hours. I checked out the next morning and won't go back, unsafe to stay there.

Enjoyed our stay at this hotel

Pros: Free breakfast, Close restaurants, Quiet, hot tub and swimming pool
Me and my family enjoyed our stay at the Dillsboro Holiday Inn very much,the employees were very nice and very helpful,the free breakfast was awesome. During our stay there we had car trouble and one of the employees gave me a ride to get parts and helped me get my car going.I highly recommend this hotel.
