Transportation from KEF
Before heading into Reykjavik, you might want to get a good night's sleep at one of the hotels close to Keflavik Int. The airport is located about 30 miles from Reykjavik, which translates to a roughly 45-minute drive, and many passengers on Reykjavik flights choose to take advantage of the airport's flybus services to reach the city and major hotels. After passing through customs, you'll see a flybus ticket office on your right. There's also a flybus ticket auto-mat near the terminal's exit. If you want, you can also take the bus, which has a stop that's a short five-minute walk from the airport terminal.
