The hotel is located in the best area (for our travel needs). Quick walking distance to shops, restaurants, museums and tour stops. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was cleaned and we had clean towels everyday. Overall experience was really good.

The location is fantastic! Staff is very friendly and helpful.The breakfast was excellent. We would definitely stay in this hotel again and highly recommend it.

The hotel is clean, the staff is friendly and helpful, the room is comfortable, but the walls are thin (I could hear my neighbor getting ready, coming and going at 5:45am). The restaurant in the hotel was delicious, the staff had great suggestions, and so friendly. I had the burger with fig jam, it was insanely good!

Great Location and Friendly Staff

This hotel is in the perfect location for exploring the city. Everything is within walking distance. The hotel staff was incredibly helpful with information about the area, and went above and beyond to help with any requests.

In downtown Reykjavik

Pros: The building has an interesting history, and there is an excavated exhibit of a very early settlement (circa 870) literally under the hotel.
Cons: I hate those single mattresses pushed together to make a double bed, but Europeans don't seem to mind.
Location: Look up the location of the hotel on the map, and all things of interest and their proximity will be revealed to you.
Very nice, reasonably priced (which is saying something in Iceland) hotel appropriately called the Centrum. The staff is really helpful and accommodating. They are all very much in tune with the routine of the multitude of tours their customers are signed up for. An excellent restaurant with service and menu very competitive with nearby high class places is right in the hotel as well as a separate bar. Other eateries and points of interest are literally within walking distance. As a matter of fact, the best way to see downtown Reykjavik is definitely by walking.
