We had a lovely stay at Guesthouse Sunna. The two bedroom apartment had everything we needed. The rooms were a bit hot. It's close to cafes and all the major attractions in the area, and being able to park on site was very convenient!

Wonderful location, almost next to the big hilltop church. My clean and basic room had a view of that and the lovely sculpture garden across the street. Staff kind and helpful. Nice breakfast with good coffee. Small kitchens here and there for fixing meals.

The staff were welcoming and attentive. The hotel was consistently clean and well-maintained, which added to the overall positive experience. Friendly guesthouse in a great location, quiet neighborhood near the large church, easy walk to center. Bedroom was small, bed snug for 2 people. Stairs, no elevator. Positives: The location of the hotel is ideal! It is essentially across the street from the Hallgrimskirkja church and thus much of downtown Reykjavik is easily accessible by foot. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Negatives: We were on the second and third floors and used a tiny spiral staircase each day. We only discovered near the end of our visit that there was a second more accessible staircase at the other end of the hotel. Perhaps the staff could have mentioned that?

This guest house has an ideal location, right across from the big church on the top of the hill. There are many, really wonderful restaurants and cafés nearby with an easy walking distance. The staff could not be better. I have stayed here more than half a dozen times.
