Flight Review

Mar 18, 2020

I will not be traveling American again. It was a short flight and we saw movie. Just great. Friendly staff. I didn't like I didn't sit with family

Mar 16, 2020

Overall the service was good. Not happy with online roadblocks. Payment for bag not registering properly. Arrive for check in and told I didn’t pay therefore I was required to swipe my card again. This occurred on my departure fro Kansas City and my return flight departing from Austin. Secondly my boarding pass wasn’t sent to my email after checking in online for return trip. Although I made the selection repeatedly. Website message passes sent to honeyathome@sbcglobal. Never received. Very frustrating.

Mar 16, 2020

Just keep cramming us in the planes. That’s why I haven’t flown in ten years. God bless

Mar 16, 2020

We changed our flight to an earlier flight. We also changed from BWI to DCA which cost us $100.00 per traveler but it was worth it to get home sooner with all that is going on with the Corona Virus.

Mar 15, 2020

Definitely an economy line but nice staff and clean plane. Flew out of MX City and the signage to find anything there is HORRIBLE. But can’t blame the airlines.

Mar 15, 2020

Wifi was terrible on plane and had to pay $21 to sit next to my 6 year old son

Mar 15, 2020

A parent shoul never be separated from their young child to extort money. Bags are expensive.

Mar 14, 2020

This was a perfect flight experience

Mar 14, 2020

It looks like the seating was done to allow maximum space between passengers. Very conscientious in regard to covid19

Mar 14, 2020

Amidst the chaos I felt safe.

Mar 14, 2020

American Air staff in Tampa went above and beyond, we had a flight delayed and they were able to get us on an earlier flight-

How to get through airport security fast when traveling to Dallas

Your trip to Dallas begins as soon as you've completed all the security checks. Here is a list of hints and tips to ensure you pass through quickly:

  • Airport security will request to see your travel ID and boarding pass upon arrival. Store them in a convenient place, so they're all ready for inspection.
  • You'll need to put your tunes on pause for a few minutes. Earphones need to be removed and placed in a tub to be X-rayed. The same applies to items such as keys and coins.
  • Electronic items such as tablets, laptops and phones will need to be sent through the X-ray machine separately. Make sure they're within easy reach.
  • When it comes to flying with gels and liquids, every passenger is allowed a quart-sized clear zip-lock bag to transport containers no bigger than 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters).
  • The airport security may ask you to remove your shoes prior to entering the body scanner. Wear a pair that you can take off easily. There's nothing more tiresome than having to do your laces up again and again.
  • Stash any multi-tools or other sharp metal items in your checked luggage. Security personnel don't permit these in carry-on baggage.

  • Omni Dallas Hotel – This posh property is the perfect place to stay in the Big D for both business and pleasure. Connected to the convention center via a sky bridge, the hotel is also close to the Dallas Arts District, inviting eateries, and sophisticated shopping.

  • Professional sports: Prefer to be a spectator as opposed to a participant in the action? Both MLB’s Texas Rangers and NFL’s Dallas Cowboys battle their opponents in nearby Arlington.
  • Relax: About 2 miles north of the end of the runway, you’ll find Grapevine Lake, home to multiple recreation areas, open parks, and hiking trails.
