Terrible Facility

Pros: If nothing else, it was clean and the staff was friendly.
Cons: Tear it down and use it for a parking lot.
Location: Directly under the DFW flight path. Nothing to do but watch airplanes take off and land.
This hotel has seen better days. It is run down. Should be leveled to the ground and rebuilt. Could see the people in the next hotel enjoying a nice continental breakfast, while I had to walk to a nearby gas station just to get a cup of coffee. WiFi was for the most part non existent. This place has all the ambiance of a welfare apartment complex.

Broken door frames and cigarette stains

It took me a little while to find the lobby/registration desk in the hotel. It's well hidden, for some reason. The staff were polite and friendly. On the way up to my room, there was a busted air conditioning sitting on a walkway. I passed some rooms where there were clearly people staying "long term" as there were all kinds of chachkas in the window. The elevator stank of cigarette smoke and a terrible scent trying to mask it. The rug was tattered and stained. When I entered my room, I immediately saw that the bedspreads on both beds had cigarette burn holes in them. I turned around and noticed that it looked as if the door frame had been broken in the past and was barely held together now. I hightailed it out of there leaving my room key in the room. It was truly disgusting.

Nice room, quiet environment.

It is right next door to a convenience store and a restaurant. The rooms were clean, the bed was comfortable, the television worked. It had a comfortable chair to sit in. We stayed there for a week. A minor problem with the sink was fixed right away. The staff was friendly and helpful. We felt welcome and had a great time.

Affordable and Functional

Pros: Central location.
Cons: A functionality check on clock radios and better response to front desk calls.
5 stars this is not. But if you are looking for affordable that meets your basic needs, then this one fits the bill. No frills, just a fair sized room with good A/C (oh so important in the TX heat). Nice Hot water supply. No serious negatives like bed bugs or bad odors. A well used room that has seen better days. Close to attractions in the area and well worth what I paid. No pool or breakfast offered, but plenty of hot coffee available. Staff were pleasant and efficient.

filthy

Pros: They staff were helpful and friendly
Cons: the cleanliness
Booked this hotel because I have stayed in red roofs several times with nothing but great experiences. This hotel room was dirty. The room smelled like sewer and mold and there was stuff splashed on the wall. I could not imagine that sheets or towels would be clean after seeing how poorly the rest of the room looked. The staff were very polite and refunded my money after i asked to speak with the manager.

Basic hotel close to DFW

No frills, no thrills. The room was clean and convenient to the airport and downtown. Can't ask for more than that of a budget hotel.

A pit

Room had walls peaking paint. Gnats in the bathroom sink. I reset the cable tv that was not working. Not a good experience at all.

Great staff, decent place to stay if needing to fly

The front desk staff was very kind, knowledgeable and professional. They offer free shuttle to DFW which is one reason I chose to stay here. I was guided when needing to choose shuttle service timing and offered park and fly which was only $4 a day. The rooms are clean, very basic and plain. I only stayed here for one night as I just needed someone to stay since I was flying out early.

Clean basic room.

Clean basic room at a reasonable price. Best part was late night pick up from the airport.
