I chose this hotel because it is centrally located to allow us to travel to a variety of destinations. This was a three night stay for us. My kids arrived a day earlier then I. My kids let me know they were very pleased with check-in and friendliness of the staff and even providing the various things in order to travel around Charleston. But things went down hill after that. 1. A family reunion was partying outside in the patio drinking liquor and beer, and was also blasting their music. Even with my daughter minding her own business a member that was in attendance of the family reunion attempted to pick her up, on more then one occasion. 2. We asked for room service and even went in person to designate a time for room service to be completed, yep, you guessed it, NO room service. 3. On our last night of stay, the guests from the family reunion were not only partying on the patio, but also carrying on loudly in the hotel lobby. ***I have never stayed at a hotel that aloud guests to party on the patio and be so loud in the lobby. I understand due to covid, housekeeping can only attend to rooms when guests are not present in the room, which we weren't for the time we scheduled to have room service completed, but if the process is to sign up for service, then the hotel needs to make sure this service is completed, especially if the stay is more then one night. Majority of the time, guests cannot go without some sort of service, even if it just for towels and a vacuum.

The front desk staff (Karen) went above and beyond to help us when there was an issue with the room, she was awesome. Every time I fly into Charleston I stay here. Great location and excellent service. The staff our alway friendly as well.

This property was very clean and staff was courteous and friendly. Amenities (fitness center) was very good and all equipment was working. Location is very convenient to downtown Charleston. Would definitely recommend this location. One of the best Comfort Suites we have stayed in.
