Beautiful hotel in a perfect location. So many nice extra amenities! They have complimentary snacks everytime you turn around. Also lovely waking up to the smell of fresh coffee and having pasties hanging from our door knob! Comfortable bed and very clean. Artist in residence studio right in the open corridor which was so cool although he wasn’t painting when we were there. Loved having an art gallery right there in the hotel as well. We had an absolutely lovely stay and would love to come back!

The location was ideal! Able to walk to just about anything. Staff was fabulous! So very friendly & helpful. Especially the valet, Dillion. He was wonderful. Very genuine in his interactions. The whole team was really great. We would definitely stay there again. Very unique property. We loved the rooftop bar & cookies in the evening! If you want to submerge yourself in the true atmosphere of Charleston, this is a great place for you! Just book it!!

Decor was fun, bed was comfortable. Lively lobby and friendly staff. However, our “Premier King” was in another building which was accessed through a stairwell and 2 awkward doorways. The carpet in our room had seen better days but was the most off putting was the offensive sewer smell in the bathroom at all times of the day. The same odor could be smelled at various other locations throughout the hotel from time to time but seemed at its worst in our room. We had a strange set of approx 5 steps leading to the bathroom and horrendous overhead almost fluorescent lighting in the bathroom. Additionally, the door in our bathroom did not close all the way which could be an issue for some guests. “Breakfast” was delivered in a large brown shopping bag and consisted of the exact same 2 croissants and 2 blueberry muffins each of our 3 days. We had been told that there would also be juice delivered however there was not. The baked goods were fine but more variety and more imaginative packaging could go a long way in guest satisfaction. An in-room mini fridge would also be a helpful addition. Customer service consisted of texts from management. We were offered a room change but after unpacking that didn’t seem appealing nor did the optimism of another room being all that much better. We will not be returning and I would not recommend!

We enjoyed our stay very much - the staff was friendly and professional and accommodating when we had a small issue - the bagged breakfast, the welcome drinks and the baked goods all times of the day were nice touches. Decor is pretty all black and yellow. Location is fantastic

Staff was great. The service began the day before I arrived with communication and offer of amenities. Upon arrival, I was met immediately, rapid check in and guided to my room. All Vendue employees were friendly and helpful. Location is great, only one block from waterfront and the walking/running path. Great pub adjacent to hotel. Will staff there again

The rooms & all common areas were very clean. Loved the ambience & staff in the “Enclave” section of the Vendue Hotel. While a smaller more boutique feel it was a delightful experience for me & 4 ladies who each had separate & high quality rooms. The added touches of in room treats each nite & unexpected am treats at the door daily were much appreciated. The hotel location was great. Walkable to so many things & super close to the water park. The focus on local contemporary artist work throughout both sides of the hotel was a treat as well. I would Recommend for friends & couples trips for sure!
