Room comfortable and furnished ok. but — another oddity — there’s neither a closet nor any other place else to hang clothes. Apparently no on-site staff. All communications electronic ..."

The Couper Bocca di Leone
"The Bocca Di Leone was the first of five hotels I stayed in during an eleven day trip to Rome and Florence. It was located right inside the commercial heart of the city centre, just two blocks from the luxury shopping street, Via dei Condotti, and a three to five minute walk from the famous Spanish steps. In terms of the major sights and museums in the city centre, it was a fantastic location. The room I stayed in was beautifully renovated, and the building itself was very secure and getting in and out was easy. The hotel had a very boutique luxury feel, and the room itself was large, well air-conditioned and quiet. The hotel staff was extremely welcoming and gracious. I did not have a phone while on this trip, but they helped make my first three nights in Rome easy and comfortable. Being so close to the commercial hub for luxury shopping made it especially easy to find my way back later in the night, it is a part of the city center that has no hills and is very easy to walk around. Taxis could be found at multiple points very close by, and you could often find one on the street the hotel was located on. Between the Spanish Steps, the Trevi Fountain and Piazza Del Popolo, so I particularly enjoyed the polished nature of the hotel and area for my first impression of Rome. If traveling from Termini station, I recommend taking a cab to the hotel, especially if carrying multiple bags. Overall, excellent experience and a great choice for a more modern and shopping forward stay."
