nice , close to everything

We enjoyed the hotel , very close to everything , everything within walking distance(subway transportation was close also , if needed) . freedom trail , Quincy market and faneuil hall, Quincy market district, lots of shopping , restaurants and bars and pubs .. only downfall we felt , was the $49 a night for parking .

Nice hotel in a great location

Pros: The hotel was very clean, had an excellent location and the staff were very nice. The lobby and rooms were very well decorated.
Cons: We found the hotel to be very noisy. It seems like you can hear every door slam and every toilet flush. Breakfast was overpriced $47 for 2 basic meals
Location: Great location, everything that a visitor would want to see is in easy walking distance.
We stayed at The Bostonian on a weekend visit to Boston. The location can't be beat, literally across the street from the attractions at Faneuil Hall, State House and Marketplace. The Aquarium and waterfront were less than a 5 minute walk. I mentioned on the booking that we were celebrating an anniversary. We found a plate of fruit and a bottle of champagne in our room when we came back in the evening. That was a very nice bonus. Otherwise the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The property was very well kept, clean and nicely decorated. Most rooms have big windows and a very small balcony. It was nice to have the ability to open the doors and get fresh air. On our first night we had guests in a nearby room who were very loud into the early AM. I asked for a room change the next day and the front desk accommodated that request without a problem. Overall, I found the hotel to be noisy, even after our room change, you could hear toilets flushing and doors slamming all the time. Maybe its just the construction of the building. Lastly, we had breakfast at the hotel restaurant and found it to be more expensive than expected. A basic diner like breakfast for 2, cost nearly $50.

A perfect location!

Pros: The location and the staff.
Cons: It would be nice if the beds were queen sized, instead of doubles, and if you could get internet access in your room.
Location: The location was perfect for the history lovers! Faneuil Hall, Paul Revere house, Old North Church, Boston Harbor Cruises, Italian section all nearby.
This hotel's location couldn't be better for those wanting to visit Boston's historic sites! It is right across the street from Faneuil Hall, and a short block or two from picking up the Old Town Trolley. The waterfront is also close by. The best Italian food imaginable is on Hanover Street, a very short walk away. The hotel itself is very modern and clean, and the staff is most friendly and helpful. they have a very good restaurant, where we ate a very reasonably priced and delicious lobster dinner!

Excellent stay

Great facility. GM, Robert, is a great host. Gives credit to his team. Fortunately I was on the quiet side of the property. Construction on the other side went on overnight. Onsite restaurant served very good food at reasonable prices.

wonderful hotel

Pros: Everything, especially the location and quietness of the rooms.
Location: Quincy Market, Haymarket street vendors, very quick walk to North End and great proximity to multiple T stops.
The location is perfect, very close to the North End and access to the T. I love that the rooms have french balconies with red geranium flower boxes and lovely city views. This trip we were on the 7th floor which has a lovely, small roof deck where we relaxed with friends in the May sunshine. The staff are very helpful and friendly.
