The staff were very helpful and also helped us store our bags on departure day, as well as our daughter's bags, so we could enjoy a lunch in town together as we crossed paths.

Hotel was clean and in a central location. Room was so small but ok for 1 person for the price.Had to iron a dress and the cord to the iron wasn’t long enough for any plug. No closets or dressers to place your clothes so had to keep them in the suitcase.

The trip was a birthday trip for my sister, and we wanted to try a new hotel for this visit. Unfortunately, it was a bad idea, and we will never again choose to stay at this hotel. The prices are comparable to other hotels in the Back Bay area, but the quality of this hotel is unacceptable. In the first room, she could not get the tv nor the internet to work, both amenities that the hotel lists on the website. She tried to use the phone to call the front desk to get help, but instead found that the phone in the room also didn’t work. The air conditioner in the room rattled nonstop, and the room reeked of mildew and mold. So, she used her cell phone to call the front desk, but the desk assistant hung up on her before she could fully state the issues with the room. She had to go in person to get help with the tv and internet problems. She spoke with Claudia, the desk manager, who was unfriendly and abrasive, to advocate for a new room. This second room had a working tv and hotel phone but the internet worked intermittently. Additionally, the room smelled like cigarette smoke and urine. After this new room was not much better than the previous one, we decided an early checkout would be the best option. There was no apology for the issues that my sister faced in the short time that she stayed at this hotel. Although the stay was scheduled for four nights, we instead decided to move to another hotel in the area for the remainder of her stay. We did not regret that decision.

The first couple days the elevator wasnt working but it was fixed , kinda slow but hey its an older hotel. Location is great , staff was friendly , rooms were clean , would stay here again

The property was very clean and in an area that felt safe. Quite quiet at night. The elevators were acting up, and there was no evidence of anybody trying to fix them. To get to the second floor you had to push button to the third floor and then a second floor button that wouldn’t light up and only one of the two elevators was working, so that kind of put a damper on the experience.

Great location and clean rooms. Service was limited at the hotel. Elevator was incredible slow so we often took the stairs. The bathroom while updated, was incredibly small and difficult to manuver around. The shower leaked onto the floor making a mess in the small space each time we showered. Again, we loved the location and it was walking distance to restaurants, bars, and much of what we wanted to do!

No room phone, room was cold no matter what the thermostat was set to, the one elevator was ALWAYS slow and busy, room was small with sparse furniture, water pressure was low, dining area was just snack vending machines and a coffee machine.
