The rooms are very clean and charming. Not a lot of extras if that what you are looking for but loved the room and the quaintness of the hotel. Easy access to everything. Would definitely stay here again.

I like the archaic exterior. The interior is under renovation but the place was clean. I miss not having a microwave or telephone in the room. The room is a decent size. It needed a brighter reading lamp. Peter, the front desk representative was very courteous and helpful--in particular with navigating parking. It is horrendous that Boston gives tickets for parking on the streets after the meters are off! With the limited and expensive parking in the area, why do you think it is tourist-friendly to put such an anti-visitor parking policy in place?

Michelle, You're right parking is tough and a lot of it becomes residential after hours. That is why we recommend parking in the garage, although expensive ($40 per night) its still cheaper then the parking ticket.

The person on the desk at check in was very helpful with what would otherwise have been a very conusing parking situation. What is called "valet parking" is actually remote self parking with paperless accounting accomplished by QR codes on a smartphone. She provided the cellphone legerdemain to get us parked while simultaneously remaining charming. I would prefer they call this arrangement something other than "valet parking." The property offers more than adequate lodging and an excellent central location, but no food or frills. Even the wifi is minimal.

John, the parking can be confusing, we unfortunately do not have our own parking facilities. Because of this we have discounted parking set up at an area garage , to get that discount you are required t create a parking reservation. I'm glad that we were able to help get you sorted out.

Overall the location of the hotel was prime for the Boston marathon and everything was walkable. However the facilities are lacking. The furniture was dated and the bathroom could use some updates. However my biggest challenge was the temperature of the room and the ability to control my room temperature. Three consecutive complaints regarding the temperature of the room in three days. It was too hot, and the maintenance staff came to adjust the fan. Then the next day, the temperature was again too hot. The maintenance again responded, and told me not to touch the fan. The room then became too cold and I reached out to maintenance. The temperature of the room then was set at 67, however for the duration of my stay, it was too cold for me. I stopped complaining. The staff were attentive, however the issue was never fully resolved. The market price was quite high due to the demand for hotel rooms and for the price that was charged, the issue should have been fully resolved.

The hotel was exquisite, clean and bed was comfortable. It has what appears to be the original elevator as well as a second elevator. The bathroom was very small, there was no mini fridge in the room or coffee pit, and it was difficult to find the ice machine.

No amenities whatsoever and it cost me 800 dollars for one night in a cracker box of a room. When I typed in Fairmont Copley Square hotel.... Copley Square hotel came up....very deceiving. Travelocity did not save me a dime.

The overall styling of the hotel. I didn't care for the expensive parking rates to park at the hotel, they should be cheaper.
