Hotel was clean and in a central location. Room was so small but ok for 1 person for the price.Had to iron a dress and the cord to the iron wasn’t long enough for any plug. No closets or dressers to place your clothes so had to keep them in the suitcase.

The trip was a birthday trip for my sister, and we wanted to try a new hotel for this visit. Unfortunately, it was a bad idea, and we will never again choose to stay at this hotel. The prices are comparable to other hotels in the Back Bay area, but the quality of this hotel is unacceptable. In the first room, she could not get the tv nor the internet to work, both amenities that the hotel lists on the website. She tried to use the phone to call the front desk to get help, but instead found that the phone in the room also didn’t work. The air conditioner in the room rattled nonstop, and the room reeked of mildew and mold. So, she used her cell phone to call the front desk, but the desk assistant hung up on her before she could fully state the issues with the room. She had to go in person to get help with the tv and internet problems. She spoke with Claudia, the desk manager, who was unfriendly and abrasive, to advocate for a new room. This second room had a working tv and hotel phone but the internet worked intermittently. Additionally, the room smelled like cigarette smoke and urine. After this new room was not much better than the previous one, we decided an early checkout would be the best option. There was no apology for the issues that my sister faced in the short time that she stayed at this hotel. Although the stay was scheduled for four nights, we instead decided to move to another hotel in the area for the remainder of her stay. We did not regret that decision.

It was quiet and close to the Prudential Center for shopping. It was clean but older and has one elevator that takes a long time to get so we used the stairs often.

Superb location. Decent room and bathroom. Very nice lobby and entrance at the hotel. I realize it’s an older building but the elevator issues (not coming, needing to call it several times) was a pain. Staff was friendly and helpful.

The hotel needs an upgrade. For the price per night is definitely needs to feel more luxe. The location is fantastic. Water pressure in the room was horrible. Their should be more than just the location for this hotel. It was just ok inside. Nice staff though.

this is the worst experience I’ve had booking through Expedia. This hotel reeks of weed and the employees are incredibly uncourteous and unhelpful. my room was dirty, the shower attachment was practically detached, our room was serviced once over a 3 night stay, the carpet was stained brown with loose threads, do not stay here or trust Expedia to protect you during your stay. Expedia requested to compensate me on behalf of the hotel but refused to because there was no record of my complaints. please don’t waste your time here!!

Our room was comfortable and charming. All the basic amenities. The hotel itself was quiet, but Boston is a big city so there is some traffic and pedestrian noise, to be expected. Staff is friendly and helpful from housekeeping valet to front desk.
