Highly recommend.

Pros: I LOVED the design and decor of this hotel. Perfect location and easy to get to. Cozy and comfortable room.
Excellent location, super friendly front desk, and very trendy in decor. After reading some reviews, I was looking forward to a nice room, but possibly dealing with loud street noise and it was actually very quiet. I don't know if it was a quiet time of year in Boston or just a room tucked away from the street, but it was a perfect stay.

Nice hotel in (or near) the heart of downtown

This is a great location. Comfortable rooms with a good view (if you're staying on the 8th floor as I did you can look out over the harbor.) Friendly staff and reasonable rates. My room did have a musty smell in the restroom, but other than that I'd stay there again. Also, you do hear the street down below (cars honking and pub crawlers shouting) so if you're a light sleeper I'd recommend a room away from State street

Great location, wonderful amenities!

Pros: The location was great, and the facility itself was very chic and classy.
Cons: Nothing, loved it
Location: Faneuil Hall, Quincy Market, Black Rose Restaurant, Starbucks, Brooks Brothers, all kinds of choices.
The hotel was close to Faneuil Hall, Quincy Market, and a number of great Boston restaurants. At this time of year, it was a wonderful opportunity to get some fantastic pictures of the holiday decorations. The facility itself was very chic and modern, with large, comfortable rooms.

Nice Hotel-Parking Extra

Pros: Nice room, warm relaxing lighting, well appointed rooms.
Cons: Although the hotel has a reduced rate agreement with a nearby parking garage, expect to pay about $30/day for parking.
Realizing this hotel is located in the heart of Boston on busy State Street, it was difficult to see at first-but once found, it was worth the search. Lots of night life within walking distance.

Travelocity should be more honest

Pros: Its location in the city is excellent
Cons: Free coffee for guests would be a great idea, paying for coffee is like paying for wifi
Location: Fanuiel Hall, the north end, tons of restaurants
I booked my hotel at the Harborside Hotel Boston with the room description called king atrium room. That description did not mean anything special to me. When we got there we found a very dark inside room without any outside windows. It was so dark with the lights on that we needed to use a flashlight just to call the front desk. To be fair to the hotel, they moved us to a queen bed room with two outside windows, this was resolved quickly without a fuss. I think Travelocity should have been more clear what an atrium room means, and, state that the room has no windows to the outside. Wikipedia defines atrium as an open space usually covered by a glass roof. Well, there was an "atrium" of sorts out in the hallway. In the future I will be on the lookout when booking anything with the word atrium in it.

Great hotel -great location - easy drop off of luggage and parking garage around corner- Get ticket validated for parking at low cost. Bar is excellent and outside seating on street. Minor drawbacks- rooms very dark-poor lighting- also, if there is an event outside, hotel guests SHOULD NOT be shut off from sitting outsid!!!!!!!

Cool spot in the heart of the action.

This was a great find. Beautifully done hotel with a lively bar right in the heart of Boston. Lots to see and do within easy walking distance. Even a 24 hour convenience store next door. My only complaint--and it's a real consideration--is they have no valet and no parking structure. You park about 3 blocks away after loading out then walk back to the hotel. $32 overnight with the hotel's discount. Checking out you either have to get the car and navigate back for your luggage or schlepp your stuff through very busy streets. Definitely not the luxurious experience you'd expect from a property of this caliber. Otherwise this place was a real treat and I will likely stay here again--fingers crossed they've hired a valet by then!!

Great location!

My sister and I decided to do a quick, weekend trip to Boston. This was the perfect place to spend the night! Great location, walking distance to a lot of attractions. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room decor had a lot of character. Would definitely stay here again!
