"A great experience! YES! A feeling that you are welcomed! YES! Perfect location! HECK YES! We had a rental experience with our best interests in mind. It is the little thoughtful items/things that are kind and make sense. Cooking was a breeze, and clean-up was easy ( proper products handy). Sewing kit was a super nice touch, you know it's the small things that make it special. We enjoyed it so much, we purchased another night! Lucky us. Plus, we didn't get to finish our "points of interest" list. Wineries & Distilleries, oh my! The area is rich with wonderful people, including Joe & Kelsey, the hosts of this establishment. Good news travels fast, so book this rental soon."

"Really nice quite spot, its super clean and well maintained! I'd stay there again it was perfect for the 3 of us on our 3 night stay! The fire pit right by the lake was great it also has a really nice gas grill we took advantage of that. We cooked in several meals the kitchen was well set up. "

"The lake view is lovely. We wish the dock hadn’t been taken out for the season. Helpful suggestions - The kitchen needs to be reorganized and some equipment replaced. Especially the dinner dishes and pots and pans. Dishwasher doesn’t work as well as it should. Lightning in the bedrooms and bathrooms was not sufficient. Bedrooms need bedside lamps. The living room also needs additional non-ceiling level lighting. The living room photo on the site is not accurate. There were no side chairs in the space during our stay. The management company was very responsive when I reached out with questions. "

"We went for Labor Day weekend and our girls enjoyed the paddle boards and kayaks, as well as the lake and bonfire with the neighbors. Neighbors were very friendly and communication with the owner was prompt and thorough. We would go back!"

"What a great place for a large group of ladies! We were able to separate into groups based on "early risers", "night owls", the "who needs sleep, we are on vacation" and the "in-betweens". The pavilion came in handy both for shade and when a rain storm blew in. The lawn area and landscaping was nice and we got to see some hummingbirds.As for the swimming-the area was clean, the bottom was not slimey nor extremely rocky. There's a cement area with chairs for sunning. We didnt get a chance to fish. We did a wine tour bus instead of renting the boat. We also didnt use the firepit. It was a not conveniently placed but did not effect our experience at all. Next time we circle through Leelenau, this place is one we plan to return to, if its available."
