The hotel is nicely laid out. Nice lobby and breakfast area. Friendly and helpful staff. We could walk to a nearby restaurant with great food. We could walk to miniature golf. It was pretty centrally-located but traffic was crazy everywhere you went. Our room was comfortable and quiet. We never heard our neighbors or outside noise. Breakfast was average but there was a staff member present to keep things clean and see that all the food options were well-stocked and kept in order. The manager took time to give us a map and mark it with suggestions about hikes and biking trails. We'd stay here again.

Lovely little motel across the street from the expensive lakefront peoperties. Spacious room, comfy beds, decent complimentary breakfast. If you want to stay on tthe beach front, don't pick this. But if you want a nice economical room within great driving distance of lots of TC activities, you will be pleasantly surprised.

The room was ok. It was not a “suite” as advertised. We were supposed to have a romance suite. It was like any other room. Ceiling was old looked dirty. The walls were like cement brick with bumpy paint on it. Bad flat pillows, thin blankets and sheets. Breakfast wasn’t too great. Dry pastries, the make your own waffles and coffee were decent. Most of the staff was friendly. It was just a much older dated hotel then expected. I paid extra for a suite and do not feel I got my moneys worth for it at all. For the price I will stay somewhere else next time.

Apparently the swimming pool had been heavy used and every part of the hotel, including my room smelled heavily of the toxic gas relieve from the pool. It was better by morning.
