"Rooms are clean, and they do a good job of restocking bottled water, but not hand soap or wash cloths. Those were never replenished throughout our stay. Pools are nice and clean. The towel lady is rude and ridiculously strict with unnecessary raised eyebrows and eye rolling. Beach situation is difficult and frustrating. Maybe because it was spring break season, but lining up at 6:30 am to get beach chairs when the towel hut doesn’t even open until 8 is ludicrous. By 7:30 am, beach chairs are completely gone. And without towels, you can’t get beach chairs. Make sure you visit the towel hut the evening prior and bring towels to the beach bright and early. All week we watched guests fighting and frustrated over the beach situation. It’s just easier to pay for a chair/umbrella set up at Moomba. It wasn't a bad hotel per se, but the great reviews are puzzling. We never encountered any “above and beyond” service or even anyone who stood out as kind. Staff was pretty indifferent. We absolutely would NOT stay here again. There are MUCH better values to be had in Aruba. "

"No swim up bars. Breakfast was good, lunch was very limited and mediocre, dinners were pretty good IF you could get a reservation. We did not get any and had to escalate to a manager to get one. If we hadn’t, we would have had to eat the buffet all week. Housekeeping staff was friendly, reservation dinner wait staff was good. Staff was not friendly at Bars and lunch/buffet places. Great location and beach, could definitely improve on the food and drink options, staffing, and reservations. "

"The property was clean. Seating at the pool was hard to come by and at the beach was nearly impossible. Food was OK but they did serve my son food he was allergic to even after double checking with them. "

"We were only there two nights, but it was a great stay. This was by far the best Marriott property as far as recommending my loyalty status -Everybody in the whole place. Loved the pool, but coulda used more loungers in the sun. Food and drinks were excellent, as was the service at all (especially the private island - Jennifer). And speaking of the private island, we loved every bit of it - The boat ride, the loungers on the peninsula, the food and service, and plenty of towels. The shuttle drivers were great between facilities. The only negative was the checkout process, which was extremely slow - There should be a separate desk."
