No hot water, had to fight to change our room in a 2/3 empty hotel. They wanted to charge us more money to change and get a better view. The appliances were not working, no room service. Could not reach the front desk or room services by phone. Several attempts to no avail. Front desk greeted us with "what do you want" instead of a warm greet when we first arrived to check in. We requested refresh towels after 2 days front desk appeared not to relay message to housekeeping. Did not get towels and paper to late afternoon. Had to use lobby bathroom for lack of toilet paper. As we approached front desk all front staff walked away out of sight, had to wait for someone to respond. Have been going on vacation to Aruba for over 25 years never had this type of bad, unfriendly and poor accommodations and we have stayed at every Hotel and timeshare on the Island

The hotel and pools were beautiful and up to date. Everything was clean and the staff was friendly. I liked the suite setup -- it was perfect for our family of 4 because it had 2 bathrooms and two baths. The towels and bedding were very nice and it was great to be able to exchange beach towels at the hut. My main complaint is the lack of regular housekeeping and the slow response when it was requested. I tried to call and got no answer so I asked for TP and coffee at the front desk but it didn't come that day. I had to ask again the next day but it still didn't come. On the 3rd day, we found a person cleaning and asked him -- he gave it to us right away. The other thing I think would be helpful is to have more cleaning supplies since housekeeping does not come (and we were there for 8 days and nights). I really would have liked a broom to sweep up sand and dirt. Plus, I would have liked more kitchen towels to help with the dishes and drying. Oh, and our toilet ran the whole time even though we reported it to the front desk on our first morning there. Other than those minor adjustments, the resort is beautiful! Close to the beach with beautiful pools and a good environment. I would definitely go back!
