When I pulled the little thingy to make water come out of the shower head, some of it still came out of the bottom faucet. The location was nice--right ..."

Brookstone Lodge near Biltmore Village, an Ascend Collection Hotel
"The Brookstone Lodge was very clean, the bed very comfortable, the shower great water pressure and the temperature could go very hot. We vacationed in Asheville for 1 week and this location was perfect for all of our adventures and dining out. The breakfast at the hotel is just sufficient and the coffee was good. After the first morning we chose to patronize local eateries instead. We did not swim in the pool. Staff was helpful. My husband is handicapped and we have handicap car tags. On Saturday night all the handicap spots were taken and a couple of the cars did not have handicap tags or stickers. My husband did complain and we had to park in whatever spot was available, the next morning that same manager put an orange cone in a handicap spot and told my husband it was for him for the rest of the stay, That lasted for 2 days and it was first come first serve again after that. Our room was serviced just about every day, they did miss one, but that service just included swapping out towels, nothing was cleaned if you were not checking out. We booked through Expedia, we were given a 10.00 food credit which we did use part of it up for 2 soft drinks. We were supposed to have a room upgrade but honestly I do not know if it was an upgrade or not. I booked a room with 2 queen beds, which is what we got, and it had a couch, a microwave and a fridge, it was perfect for us and our stay. All in all I would recommend the Breakstone Lodge."
