Everything was fantastic! Though we arrived early, our room was ready. Great location. Breakfast was very good. Staff was super friendly. Would definitely recommend/stay here again!

Nice hotel close to zoo

Pros: Price was better than my 1st choice.
Location: 15 minutes to the zoo.
We booked online and requested a crib. I called after booking to confirm crib and was told a crib could not be put in the room I booked. They agreed to give me a crib anyway after a bit of begging since there was no room available with a crib. The Tv remote didn't work well, hard to turn on and off and change channels, but there was nothing on TV anyway. The room was clean and the beds are OK.

Worst hotel experience ever!

Pros: Nothing
Cons: Everything
Location: The zoo is the main attraction. There are plenty of restaurants and everyday shopping.
This hotel was absolutely disgusting! I have never before seen such a filthy room! The first thing that hits you when you walk in the door is the stench. It is a pet friendly hotel but the kennel that our dogs stay at while we are away smells better and I would sooner stay there than in this hotel. The rooms are dark and the furniture and wall coverings are all very dated and cheap looking. The bedding was gray from wear and stained. There were stains on the bed skirt, furniture and walls and even on the ceiling. It looked like a food fight took place in there except I don't know if it was food and I didn't want to know. There was a hazy film covering the door where something wasn't completely cleaned off. It had a jetted tub but there was no way that was getting used by us. I'm not sure that the room had been cleaned from the previous guests since the bed was messy and there were towels in the tub. I spoke to the person at the desk and she offered to move us to another room and showed me the room but the best I can say about that one is it may have had fewer stains. There was no possible way that we would stay there. We checked out immediately and went to the hotel next door. The woman at the desk said she could not refund the charges because I went through a travel site to reserve the room and that I would have to go through them. Regardless of a refund it was worth leaving. We felt that we needed a shower from having just walked into the place.
