Hawthorne was excellent. Very clean room, breakfast was very good as well. Kat at the front desk was wonderful. We will be back.

At check in, the individual finished checking in someone else. I walked up to the desk and asked me with alitte attitude are you checking in, I answered yes, the person asked for my ID, they typed, and just handed me the keys without saying thank you or pointing out where the elevators are, or even telling me my room number. . The people that checked in before me got good customer service and I didn't but that was whatever. I was charged an extra $90 around 4AM which they did fix but some how they charged a card that was never presented to the hotel, even when I booked it was with a different card so I am unsure what was done.. The room was okay, I mean it served the purpose but definitely needs some TLC.

The room was great and staff were friendly & helpful. Breakfast included eggs every morning!! My only issue is that I was there during a snowstorm and had to shovel my car out of 12 inches of snow by myself. I'm a 72 yo grandmother from CA. If you're going to stay here during a blizzard, be prepared.
