"We made a quick one night trip to browse around the mall and this was our hotel choice because it was affordable and very close to the mall. We were expecting it to be a little run down and maybe a tad dirty for the price and we were very surprised how clean the rooms and building was. The staff was extremely kind and helpful. Especially the poor front desk girls they were so patient and nice even when the family checking in front of us was so rude and hurtful to her. The breakfast had a lot of choices and everything was clean and not stale. Just really impressed with how nice of a stay we had with the price point. We will definitely stay here on our mall trips from now on."

"This was my first time at The Great Wolf Lodge in Gurnee, IL. I've been to the one is Wisconsin and was surprised by having to pay for parking. $20. Now I was only there for 1 day so I'm not sure if it was $20 per day or just a flat rate of $20. I also was not given the room that I booked. I booked the room with the bunk beds, but I had one less person come, so they put me in a 2 queen/ sofa bed room. My Son and his daughter were looking forward to the bunk bed room. I let them have the beds and took the sofa bed, but it was broken and my son felt sorry for me, so he and his daughter slept in one bed and I slept in the other. They had a great time at the waterpark and arcade though."
