FAQs about Voodoo Fest

What is the Voodoo Festival?

The Voodoo Music and Arts Experience, or Voodoo Fest, is a three-day festival that takes place around Halloween each year. The festival has been held every year since 1999; the 2020 festival will run from October 30 to November 1. It features diverse music, art installations (including a haunted mortuary), local artisans, shopping and a food court (think shrimp po’boys, fried chicken sandwiches and even vegan hot dogs). Don’t forget your face paint at home; Voodoo’s proximity to Halloween means it’s the perfect spot to showcase your spookiest costume.
