Top things to know about EDC

What is EDC?

Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC) is the biggest electronic dance music (EDM) festival in North America. It attracts top DJs and EDM fans from around the world. Festival attire typically includes neon-colored clothing, glow-in-the-dark or reflective fabrics and floral or glittery accessories. The 2019 festival saw around 150,000 attendees for each of the three nights, with more than 100 countries represented. In short, it’s the rave of the year — every year.

Where is EDC in Las Vegas?

EDC is held at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, located at 7000 Las Vegas Blvd N, Las Vegas, Nevada. It’s 16 miles from the central Strip area (about 20 minutes by car). Most festival-goers stay on the Strip or in downtown Vegas and take the festival’s shuttles to the Speedway. But remember: You’ll need to buy a pass separate from your EDC ticket.
