I booked this motel through Travelocity and what I found upon check-in was not a hotel room — it was a health and safety hazard.
The conditions:
No hot water
Room temperature approximately 100°F with no functional climate control
Soiled, visibly dirty drapes
Furniture so filthy that a single wipe with a cleaning cloth turned completely black
Broken door jamb with the lock mechanism fully exposed — the room could be entered without a key
That last point is not a minor maintenance issue. It is a security failure. Anyone could have walked into that room.
I requested to cancel immediately. I was refused because I had prepaid. I was essentially told to stay in an unsecured, sweltering, filthy room or lose my money.
At checkout the next morning, I personally witnessed at least 10 other guests at the front desk filing complaints about the same or similar conditions. This is not an isolated bad experience — this is how this property operates.
I contacted Travelocity to escalate. Their resolution: a $50 coupon toward a future booking, for a room that cost $200 a night. I will not be making a future booking.
Do not stay here. Do not book through a platform that lists properties like this and then hides behind prepayment policies when those properties fail basic habitability standards.
