Great place to stay. Very clean and updated. Friendly staff. Good full breakfast buffet. Free popcorn, cookies and hot chocolate every evening. Beautiful riverside view (request riverside room with balcony). Large, beautiful fire pit with plenty of seating. Comfortable bed with lots of pillows. Nice, large shower (no tub).

Previous high ratings are questionable

The bed is VERY noisy with each toss or turn. The air conditioner is also very loud. Room is very small. Bathroom small too but is clean. Must use dresser drawers or you'll need to keep some bags or luggage on the small table with a group of 4. Not enough outlets!

A place to sleep

Unloaded car, checked in with family standing there in the lobby with bags. Front desk agent kept telling us we had to put everything back in the car and drive down to the next door then ride that elevator up. Found out we could have just walked down the hall instead of reloading the car and driving literally 20 spaces down in the parking lot. Room smelled very musty when we arrived. The air said it was set in 65 but it felt like it was over 75 in the room. Entire property is very dated.

We loved our time at the Inn on the River. The breakfasts were great for getting us up and going in the mornings. Everything was just perfect. The balcony over looking the river was nice for unwinding at the end of the day. My wife says thank you for making her 60th birthday a really wonderful birthday.

Room was very nice, bed slept ok but needed a better ( firmer) pillow. Breakfast was good, ease of access to the entrance was not great, everything u leave the hotel u have traffic is bad, and if u went south when you left you have ti do a you turn to get to the entrance

It is a beautiful hotel filled with southern hospitality from the staff. We enjoyed our stay. My only concern is that their handicap rooms only have one queen bed in them, which doesn’t work when you have 4 people in the same room. They really need to make a few more handicapped rooms to accommodate people with families. But Kaitlyn one of the agents there went above and beyond for us, setting up a non handicapped room for us to be able to use. Unfortunately my husband had to go to the lobby restroom when he needed it because the room toilet was too low and the toilet riser was too small. But Kaitlyn deserves all the praise in the world for doing as much as she could for us. I hope her supervisors see this. You have a keeper there. Thank you again Kaitlyn!!

The room was nice. Pretty clean. Parking could be better. There was storm damage around the hotel that needs cleaned up. Breakfast was good and the staff did well to keep up with the amount of people staying there.

This property was awesome!! Very clean!! They had activities for the kids and popcorn every night. They have gone above and beyond a normal hotel stay. The rooms were well equipped and comfortable. The breakfast was great and all the employees we encountered were super nice and helpful. It’s also conveniently located near many restaurants and attractions. We also got a pack of coupons when we checked in that were very helpful. We will definitely stay here again.
