The home was fine but Lost Key missed badly

The floor plan and available space was terrific and as described. Very comfortable and practical for 2 families of 4 (parents and teenagers.). We did have an ant problem which is kind of understandable. We called the property manager who said they would send someone over but we never saw them and never heard confirmation that they'd come. The big issue was with Lost Key. Good idea but mediocre to poor execution. The one thing that met expectations was the workout room. The beach club was only open Thu-Sun, we're assuming due to no workers but never heard that. Very disappointing. They did make the beach chairs and umbrellas available for self-serve, however they came to pick them up at 5pm each night. This was especially disappointing since it rained each day until 2-3pm so the time in that setup was very short. The large pool by the workout room was literally shut down by the county health department on morning after our arrival and stayed closed throughout the 5 days. The county posting said it was unsafe which was replaced by a generic posting by Lost Key with no details shared. I recognize the Lost Key drops have nothing to do with the homeowner but those amenities are a big part of the value proposition when renting a home. So, I assume they'd want to know to get their POA property managers on it and that any future renter would want to know. In all, we will be back to the area but will not be back to Lost Key.

We left after one night. The property is no where near the beach or pool. The “beach house” is a drive to the other side of the road and is CLOSED for 2 weeks. So no beach access. The other pool is no where near the beach. We moved to a condo on the beach in Pensacola Beach. I feel duped.

Family vacation

Awesome beautiful property. The pictures don’t do it justice. Great neighborhood. Close to the beach. They had extra stuff (towels, beach toys, etc) if you forgot it. Seamless check in & out. We had a great time!!
