We stayed @ Margarittaville last week. My fam, grandparents & I brought our kids to FL for 1st time. MARGARITAVILLE was gorgeous- both resort & cottages. The pool =great, for small kids & adults. We had a list as first time renters that were not ideal: 1- Check in is @4pm. We arrived early (12pm) due to early flights. We prechecked in & were told our room would be ready earlier, unfortunately it was not the case. By 4:40pm my family was growing very frustrated our unit= still not ready, esp with a 9 mos old & 2 yr old. Had my husband not been the squeaky wheel @the Rentyl Cottages desk, it probably would have been much later until we were told our unit was finally ready. 2-When we got to our unit, everything was in great condition except for 5 things: -The entire main floor: We noticed that all of us had black, dirty feet. My 9month old & 2 yr old had black hands & knees. We realized that it was the units floors. We’d wash & immediately after, everything was black again. Very unhappy about this. My mother in law had to find a mop & clean floor herself. -Our back sliding door lock=broken. No matter what we did it did not stay locked. It took HOURS for someone to come fix this. -Our front entry door only locks from outside w/keycard. From inside my 2yr old pulled down the handle &easily walk into parking lot. -Our fire alarm chirped all day -Neighbors pool alarm went off for ours Can NEVER get a hold of Rentyl front desk. Had to chase maintence staff down ourself.

Our family stayed at one of the On the Rocks properties from 4/16 - 4/19 (K.Anderson) and the property was amazing. It was very clean, accessible, and fit perfect for my family of 5. The complex is pretty big but there’s are a good deal of amenities to keep busy. It was under 35 minutes from popular attractions and We’d definitely recommend this resort.

We love margaritaville but…
I didn’t expect to have to clean during my vacation. But the showers were gross with hair sitting on top of the drain and moldy grout. The dishwasher had food particles in the drain and smelled bad. The lounge chairs had rusted and/or bent legs which would be dangerous to sit on. We have stayed here at least twice a year for the past few years and this was the worst experience we’ve had.

We usually stay about 3 times a year in this resort We really love it but unfortunately this time our experience wasn't good as usual Check in horrible Cottage was not clean well Chairs falling apart Patio fan install when we were there and not working properly When trying to turn off the patio fan I received an electrical shock And again ONLY THIS PAST RENTAL WASN'T GOOD ENOUGH

This is about my 8-9th stay at margaritaville with Rentyl. I first started when the location opened. Each year the customer service dwindles- but there are also pros! I would like to mention that they now have limited access to umbrellas as you try to relax at parrot bay. They have about 10 umbrellas for two pools, the rest are for pay. Umbrellas should be included, especially with infants. I asked for an umbrella and no one at the pool could assist. The other disappointment came when I used my points and perks to book this location and I received no VIP perks. I purchased an elite stay at the cottage with vip perks. They have 3 levels of cottages, and upon adoring the representatives they cannot tell you what comes with an elite stay. They advertise a pool and spa, but they do not provide one when you purchase the highest level of cottage accommodations. Seems like false advertisement. Broken blinds, broken trash can and not late check out. I would say all of this to a manager, but they never called me back.

We stayed in a cottage at Margaritaville by Rentyl as a family. The area is very nice and close to lots of businesses. The cottage seemed a bit older than what we’re used to but it was ok. The pool was dirty and it was not heated although I requested thing the pool be heated in advance and at check in. When I called the front desk the next day to ask about the pool heat, I was on hold for 35 minutes and no one ever answered. We will try not to book with Rentyl again but we will stay at Margaritaville Cottages again.
