La sala de juegos tiene sofá, área de TV / películas, mesa de billar, máquina de pinball y tablero de dardos, así como juegos y rompecabezas. Bote de remos disponibles, patio cubierto con parrilla de carbón. Todo esto es una comunidad boscosa tranquila, cerca del río Verde. El acceso a través de un cruce de agua hace que el área sea más tranquila para nuestros visitantes. Ven y disfruta de la vida silvestre y el paisaje en nuestra pequeña y tranquila parte del mundo.

Cabin with everything

This was an amazing cabin. It had everything you need from games and entertainment to beautiful scenery. We enjoyed the hot tub under the stars as. Walking to the verde river. So beautiful! Would recommend staying here!

New years getaway

Property was more in a tighter neighborhood than we expected. With cabins very close. But neighborhood was very respectful and quit. The host gave amazing perfect directions to the cabin and was easy to communicate with multiple ways. Layout of the property was fun, the game room and hot tub were a hit! Cute and cozy house perfect for the whole family

This house was exactly as described. We loved every minute of our stay. The house had everything you could think of for a weekend get away. Right outside of Payson, it gave the perfect feel for a weekend in the woods. This friendly community was great for our kids to be outside able to play and go for a walk by the river. We’d love to visit this home again!

Wonderful Family-Friendly Property

Our family of 4 plus our pup had a fantastic stay at this property! The cabin was very clean and well-equipped with towels, linens, and dishes/cookware, etc. A family with kids will never be bored at Holiday Hide-A-Way- the basketball hoop, pool table, dart board, pinball machine, arcade machine, hot tub, and horseshoe pit were a ton of fun for my sons. Not to mention, access to the East Verde River is less than a 5 minute walk from the property, and it is really beautiful; on one side of the water bridge the river is more like a creek in some places and my kids loved playing in the water. Verla was very easy to communicate with, and she prompltly responded to any questions I had. Holiday Hide-A-Way is an amazing value for the price when considering the location and all of the amenities provided- we definitely hope to return in the future!

Amazing relaxing getaway

My family stayed here during spring break for a few days and had a wonderful time. Communication was wonderful throughout our stay and there were plenty of directions left in the home to guide us on working everything. We did bring food and coffee with us even tho there was some there for our use. We always try to leave more behind than we take just to be considerate. We enjoyed playing some games, sitting on the back patio, soaking in the hot tub, adventuring into town, hiking the tonto natural bridge, and spending time together as a family. One thing I will mention is making sure you get directions on your phone before leaving the house because there is absolutely zero cell service if not connected to the WiFi lol.

Great Holiday Getaway

The cabin was perfect for the Christmas holiday - spacious with plenty of entertainment offerings. We are a family of four with two dogs and were very comfortable in the cabin. The kitchen is updated and worked well for cooking family meals. Neighborhood felt safe and the nearby hiking trail was a bonus. Verla was very helpful upon arrival and the detailed instructions in the cabin made our stay seamless.

it was scary

I needed a few days to rest and I couldn't do it, the property is really very old, the children were scared, just like me and my husband, the neighbors didn't let us listen to music when it was 4 in the afternoon, the sheets still had a bad smell The cabin has a smell of an empty house, nothing fresh and the coffee maker still had the coffee from the previous guest

Fun in the woods!

We had a great stay here! It was beautiful fun cabin. Very homey and cheery,. Host left us a bottle of wine, s'more stuff, and dry cereal, and pancake mis. Lots to do at the house. Hot tub was perfect. The kids enjoyed the fluffly soft robes. They enjoyed the loft. The trundle beds were perfect. The pellet stove was perfect warmth and gave nice ambience like a cabin in the woods. The creek crossing was a surpise, but we were able to cross in our mini van and our Ford Leaf. The kids enjoyed planing in the water even though it was chilly in March. Pinball and pool table and darts kept the kids busy for hours. It was nostalgic to see VHS player in the game room downstairs that worked and all the movies from my childhood there. The backyard is great for playing horse shoes and sitting outside to share a meal. Really enjoyed our stay! Hope to return. Thank you Verla and Wes.

Just like home

The cabin was beautiful, loved the personal touches. Bottle of wine, games very cozy. Would love to bring my grandbabies next time. So many things for the kids to do. Especially loved the hand quilted blankets. Only complaint was the mattress in the second bedroom very springy. The jacuzzi was great and our dogs LOVED the yard. Verla was awesome.

Relaxing Week in the Forest

Verla has a wonderful home for a nice vacation in the Pines. The kids loved the pool table, darts, and video games. The hiking was really pretty and a really good workout. The house is nice for multiple people. It was nice to have the whole yard fenced in for the kids and the dog. Lots to do around the house. No need to go into town to do anything. Wifi was a little spotty, but we were not up there to be on our phones. Verla was quick to respond if we needed anything. Lots of nice touches like a s’mores kit, fresh flowers on the dining room table, some packets of gingerbread oatmeal for the fall season, and some mints on the dining room table too. The only thing that was different from the pictures was that the loft only had a queen size bed, and the twin bed that was in the picture is now a rollaway bed for someone to sleep in the sunroom. Not a huge deal to us other than the kids fighting for about five minutes about who was going to sleep in the sunroom and who was going to sleep in the loft! Looking forward to staying here again.

Great Place, Great Hosts, Great Location!

We had a great time at Holiday Hide-a-Way. The place felt like home. Very cozy, clean and comfortable. Many amenities. Our dogs enjoyed it too. The hiking was excellent. Conveniently located near Payson yet away just a few miles enough to feel out of town and nestled. Stars were amazing! Verde Valley has great and helpful neighbors. The hosts were so accommodating and even helped me with a car situation. I am forever grateful for their kindness and generosity. They are Grace.

Great weekend getaway

My husband and I wanted to get out of the heat for our 2 year anniversary. This property has so many things to do although the time went so fast we didn't get to utilize everything. This place is perfect if you have kids. We have 2 Dachshund's and they loved exploring the back yard. I hope we can return soon and bring our daughter and her family. Best little cabin for our family

This is our second time staying at Verlas cabin and we already can’t wait to come back again. This is the perfect little spot in Payson for our getaways. She puts so much thought into the home and what guests would need for their stay. So many amenities like games (outdoor and indoor), coffee, wine, cook and glassware. She always leaves a little treat for your arrival. The backyard is fantastic!!! It’s nice and fenced in but large enough for our pups to run around and play freely. Our girl pup would wake up everyday and run to the fence to see if her chicken friend and fellow dog friend where awake to say hi lol. We just feel like home here. We finally got to meet Verla on the way out of town this stay and she was so lovely! She let us know all about her place and other cabins and we got to learn a little about her and how much she loves this little spot. We can’t wait for our next stay at Verlas place :)

The cutest hideaway

We had such a blast at this cabin. The location is great, there’s tons of activities indoor and outdoor. Highly recommend going on the 4x4 trail. It’s a beautiful view. Old country inn has the best pizza!

The property was clean and room for the family. The games and pool table made it extra fun. Only downside is this is in a neighborhood and not a cabin out in the woods so neighbors are close. But still a nice property for the price.

Family Fun!
