Absolutely beautiful property with unique ambiance and interesting history. We loved walking around and enjoying all of the art work by the talented Tina Mion, as well as the architecture and period furniture. Check out that second floor for her gallery though it is pretty cool. The Turquoise Room does not disappoint and we had a fabulous dinner (order those squash blossoms) with amazing service. I also tried the signature soup and while it was not for me, my husbands mole dish was really tasty. Their cocktails were a treat after a long drive. Gift shop was loaded with goodies and the morning brought a nice coffee/tea station. Our room was not large by any means, but the bed was comfortable. Do yourself a favor and put in the earplugs before you go to bed. I struggled with the noise from the trains, however hubby slept right through. All in all it was really just a lovely experience and it would be a pleasure to stay again. Make sure to walk the grounds, sit in the quiet areas and watch the videos, grab a game and play, browse the art and listen to the acoustic guitar player if he is there. The museum behind the hotel is super cool so leave time for that also. These types of places are slowly being removed so enjoy the experience!

Beautiful hotel

My daughter and I were on a road trip and the corner of Winslow Az. was on our list. Since it was my birthday we decided to splurge and stay at this special hotel. They knocked it out of the park. Some of my family members had requested a treat in the room. It was waiting for us in our room and it was so yummy. I highly recommend this hotel for a special and relaxing place to stay.

This is a must stop any time you are near by or even if you are going out of your way. The hotel and gardens are endlessly enjoyable. Explore great art, beautiful surroundings, delicious food and drink and wonderful service. You will not be disappointed except by the no dog rule for the museum. This attitude is in starkn contrast to the rest of the property which welcomes dogs with joy.

La Posada was awesome. The gardens and setting was very magical. We enjoyed every meal in the Turquoise room- service was awesome. The hotel exceeded our expectations on every level. We will definitely come back!!!
