I location was about 2 hours from the airport, the hotel was nice and but the food was not great, it was authentic to the culture. Should have to visit a country and eat the same food I get at home, the beach area was lovely, the water was nice and calm at all times, I will visit again, but I have to go to Jamfest to eat true Jamaican food.

When we arrive we asked to be put by the other couple. They put them 6 buildings down. Swim up bar out of rum multiple days. Imagine the Caribbean out of rum. Beer taps broke multiple days. Not all restaurants open. Not the foodie place that was listed. Staff always does what they can and were very friendly. Management failed.

Booked the 4 star side, was put in 3 star side. Slow season understandable, but having so many restaurants closed is crazy. Bars under prepared and unable to make easy drinks. Service by employees was great. Management should be embarrassed by the operation.

The dining staff goes above and beyond; I rate them a 5 out 5. On the other hand, room service was below average. Trying to get towels and washcloths was like having a root canal done! The staff go above and beyond with what they have to work with so management need to take time out to look a a little closer at these reviews and try to work with the staff better and make the necessary changes and upkeep of the property. Location is excellent. the ocean, beautiful, minimum seaweed, and constantly being clean by the staff also the pools. I just want to take time out to acknowledge the excellence of a few employees namely, Kaydene ( morning hostess with Tyne mostest in dining), Ayana (dining) and Shion (dining). These employee made or stay just wonderful.

Loved your resort, All staff outstanding, each and every staff member made us feel like we mattered. I personally was a little bummed with we had no robes, no slippers, no umbrella in our room. Other than these small issues, we would recommend your resort. Special shout out to our lifeguard JJ. & the two bossmen from glass bottom boat who took us out snorkeling. These three men go above and beyond their duties for the guests. Please acknowledge the three of them. Thank you to Azul beach resort and all the staff for making our vacation so memorable.

The beach was beautiful. The rooms were old with the worst furnitures ever seen in a resort, Water from the shower will run into the floor leading up into the room. TV was not working and no hair blow dryer available. Limited food choice with the worst Cafe shop ever. Only one restaurant was open and entertaining none existed. Luckily the staff members were amazing and tried their very best to assist us with the limited resources they had to make our stay somewhat comfortable.

We had three rooms booked at this property The limited dining, the low quality alcohol served with offers to be sold higher quality on the shelf. The entire resort is in disrepair and needs some attention. We had a significant medical event in one of the rooms due to a tile slicing into a foot. The resort at the start reluctantly tried to resolve and in the end paid for the medical staff that had to come to the resort. The resort did offer to comp the one room for one night.

Azul staff is outstanding and friendly. We are return guests and many remembered us. Entertainment crew (Anton, Flames, Tio, TT) kept their energy level high even though it was low season. While it was understandable that one restaurant at a time would be open due to low occupancy alternating between only two restaurants was not ideal. Perhaps opening different restaurants during the week or keeping the buffet open would help. It seemed strange to run out of so many things considering low capacity. Management needs to be more accountable for these shortcomings and correct so that front line employees do not need to hear the complaints from guests. Hopefully the misses are corrected as we would love to return. The beach is absolutely incredible!

Property in need of TLC, but staff 💯

The property overall is lovely. However, it is desperately in need of some TLC and maintenance. There were plugs in my room that did not work. The staff are who made the stay worthwhile. Nameisha and Shyaine at Customer Service, Tina at the pool bar and the many servers at The Palm that made the experience fantastic and bearable.
