Perfect location on the beach and away from the busier side of Waikiki. Room was moderately clean. All staff is friendly and accommodating. Will stay there again!

Better than a five star Honolulu Marriott. Love the well-functioning air conditioning, spacious rooms and lovely balconies. The cleanliness was quite good; the housekeeping does a great job. Very much appreciated the on-site ABC store! Checking in was also amazing, very accommodating agents at front desk. I’ve stayed at more than a dozen four or five star properties during a month long stay and this was my last hotel before departure. It ended up being my absolute favorite. Last but certainly not least! Best actually. I will definitely return here.

My husband and I were very excited for our first time in Hawaii but we’re very disappointed with the mandatory "resort fee" of $55 daily during our recent five-day stay at the Waikiki Beach Marriott Resort & Spa. It was quite disappointing to discover this charge for amenities that are typically complimentary at most hotels, such as pool access, towels, and game room facilities. We found this particularly frustrating as we did not utilize the pool and the daily activities often appeared to be unoccupied. While I understand that hotels may have additional charges, the mandatory nature of this fee, especially for services we did not use, significantly impacted our overall experience. An additional $255 for services not utilized, on top of the room rate and announced only upon arrival, is not something I believe provides value. I recommend you to consider how these fees affect your guests' perception and encourage you to allow your guests to make the most of their visit by exploring the beautiful island rather than feeling obligated to use paid amenities.
