It was a good experience except for a critical issue. We had to use our own cellular data/hotspots to get even video-stream quality internet, an issue we weren't expecting as the listing has "wifi" in the name. The location wifi simply does not work for everyday browsing of a single person, let alone more than one person attempting to use it. Several of us are IT professionals; the issue was not user-created. Either the hardware is problematic or the signal from the ISP is incredibly weak. We stopped short of resetting the router/modem to check the bandwidth coming in as we felt that would not be appropriate as guests. This is definitely something you need to resolve if you are going to keep "wifi" in the name.

The cottage was exactly as described!!! Very clean and pleasant to stay in, roomy and comfortable!! The kitchen had 90% of everything we needed to cook so we didn't have to eat out. Justin was very quick to respond to any of my questions, check in and out was very easy. Our only issue was, my dad had a little trouble getting in and out of the master bathroom shower, my only suggestion would be to maybe install a handicap bar? Other than that we will definitely be booking it again when we stay in Tennessee again!

The house was as described. It was just a bit insufficent. I was expecting a bit more from a home in a competitive market like Gatlinburg. We stayed for five nights, seven of us, the house says it sleeps 10. Each bathroom was only equipped with TWO rolls of toilet paper, kitchen had TWO trash bags, dishwasher had TWO washing pods and the washing machine had TWO washing pods. In fairness the discirption of the property does say renters are supplied with 'starters' (in those areas). -The house was clean, the back yard fire pit was nice, the living room was nice and comfoy for our group. This was the first rental I've stayed in that didn't have any kind of 'renters booklet' (you know, with check out proceedures, wifi code, local suggestions, hints about the neighborhood and house), so that was weird. -Upon arriving and accessing the VRBO portal app, the code provided for the property wouldn't unlock the door (glad no one had to go to the bathroom). Got that worked out after about a 5-7 min wait, connected with the contact through the app and i had also called the VRBO number for the account. Had to contact the person in the app to get the wifi code, which they sent us like 4 different ones, the person didn't know which one was for the house. The microwave didn't work properly, at the suggestion of the contact we were told to unplug - wait a minute and replug and it shoud work. I descibed the 'clicking' noise it was making. We had to go through that process about 15 times...

The house was clean and attractive. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful (although we were visited by a bear!). The host was quick to respond whenever I sent him a message. The only negative issue we had was the sewer system was inadequate. Every night after we all took showers, the toilets wouldn't flush.
Preparing breakfast was easy in this nice kitchen.

The place was decent for the price a little too much wood for my taste. The beds need updating the master bed is a bit wore out. Did notice cobwebs in the bathroom around the wall. A little more attention to cleaning would help. If there wasn’t a better option I would stay there again. Like I said not bad for the price.

The overall stay was good. There were 5 of us so lots of room to spread out when needed. It is also really close to downtown so it's not far to drive and maybe walk. It's also right at the end of the Roaring Fork Motor nature trail. The host was really helpful and responsive when we had to reach out due to some minor issues with a breaker that tripped and not having the right lock code for the door when we first arrived, but no problems after that. A quick call fixed both issues. My only complaint would be that the king mattress and pillows need to be updated. The bed had the indentions of where others have lain and the pillows were very flat. I can't speak for the other rooms where my kids were staying, but they didn't complain about anything. The house was very clean as well and the kitchen was sufficient for everything we needed to do. It was also convenient that there is a washer and dryer so we could wash our clothes before leaving. My wife really enjoyed being there and would probably want to stay again the next time we visit this area.

We had a re-enactment of our family vacation in Gatlinburg many years ago. My husband and I met our adult children there for a few days to walk down memory lane. Perfect house for it. So big with a bedroom for everyone and two nice bathrooms. Location was a very quick drive to restaurants and shopping. And the bears! That was actually the highlight of our trip! My daughter arrived in a rental car late at night and forgot to lock her car. The next morning, her car door was open but no damage…door just hanging ajar. Early the next morning, the culprit walked around our yard and through our neighbor’s yards while we watched from the porch for a good half hour! He walked ten feet from us and was huge. My husband is a hunter in Michigan but had never been so close to a wild bear for so long. It was fun!Overall, an experience so much better than a hotel.

Our overall experience with fantastic. It is close enough you can walk to the strip. The home is clean. The only down part was the HDMI’s were on the very back of the tv’s so it was hard to plug fire sticks or our Xbox. One of our chairs outside and a crack broke when I sat in it due to them being plastic. We will definitely be renting again in our future visits

The property is as advertised, and my kids especially appreciated that they had their own rooms and beds! What really sets this experience apart is the communication and help from the property manager! They are through, helpful, and timely with their information and assistance. We had a great time!

Loved it! We were there for a soccer tournament and had 8 people in the house, we all had space. The house is in a beautiful, quiet area. There’s a creek down the street that you can walk to. As soon as we put our things in the house we walked down to it. The house is in a perfect location, couple mins from the downtown area and about 10 mins from the soccer stadium. Pigeon Forge was about 15-20 mins away, we had games there

Shared home during weekend sports tournament at Rocky Top

We shared this house with one other family during a weekend lacrosse tournament at Rocky Top Sports World. It was a perfect alternative to staying at a hotel that allowed us the ability to have home cooked meals and peace and quiet for a good nights sleep. This home was close to grocery stores for picking up forgotten essentials. It was close enough to Rocky Top that we were even able to drive back over in between games to dry gear and uniforms after a downpour during one of the games. It is just a few minutes from downtown Gatlinburg. Very convenient if you do want to go for a meal, shop, and to walk the town, hike, or venture north to Pigeon Forge for the many attractions offered there as well. It’s a simpler option than many of the other cabins in the area but perfect for families just looking for a quiet and convenient location during their stay.
