I booked a double, I had 1 bed. There was room for the other bed. Cigarette burns in comforter, mold on curtains, lamps rusted very bad, cigarette butt on floor and the tv didn’t work. Then an early check in fee of $35.00, why? No tv, no 2nd bed, etc.! I booked this cracktel under duress, so I could make it to my nieces home going celebration. Hotels using Wyndham’s name should be made to uphold their facilities. A secret rep should be assigned to routinely check the property. I left a day early. I slept in my clothes. Wyndham I can be the secret representative, because you need one. I know it’s about the money but there should be guidelines to use your name.

The shower was not connected nor did the bathtub have a plug so had to bathe at the sink. At check-in it’s seemed like we were bothering the guy. He tried to give us 2 double beds instead of the 1 king we had signed up for. “Breakfast” consisted of 2 cereals and 2 juices. The ice machine was broken and leaking all over the sidewalk.

The room was just as it was pictured. The AC/Heater worked amazingly had trouble finding my set temp for my liking's as I either got to hot or I got to cold in the winter time. I did see a live roach, along with roach legs on the towels. We were limited to only being able to have 2 towels and 2 wash rags at any given time but yet the room we got had 2 double beds with a occupancy of up to 4 adult guest. The ice machine was out of order due to it being winter time and the line froze but when asking the front desk about it they did not offer anyway to get ice just informed that the ice machine was down and broke due to the cold weather. The times that the "free breakfast" was actually being served was a very limited time frame from 6 am to 9 am. NOT only was I disappointed in the limited time that breakfast was being served as morning #1 we were 30 min late for the 2nd morning we went down there around 7, or 7:30 am and the only FREE breakfast they actually provide is 2 different kinds of cereal, frosted flakes or risen brain they had orange juice, apple juice, milk, and coffee. They did have some tea bags out as well if you wanted to have a single serve cup of hot tea. No real sugar available only splenda. Then once we fixed a bowl we went to walk out from the front office where the "breakfast" is served and the front desk clerk says oh no you have to stay in here to eat. Staff was always very friendly along with some of the guests when passing spoke and were always nice.

When we arrived at the hotel and got in our room there was a smell and the blankets had multiple burn holes in them. The lighting was almost not useable. The mattresses are worn out and uncomcortable, also you could here the movement of the springs every time you made any kind of movement on the bed. The "heated" pool was ice cold. We had also tried to get ahold of the front desk and no one would even answer the phone. I will NEVER return to another Motel 8 for any reason.
